Travelodge Manchester Salford Quays

Clean rooms, friendly staff, easily accessible parking, good breakfast, well positioned just off motorway with local public transport links for 10 min journey into central Manchester. Simple to find, 1 min off the m62 & the car park is directly opposite the front door of the hotel - we arrived 23.30 & had no problems accessing the car park via the access code provided by reception. There is an all night kitchen & bar & a nice area for relaxing but for convenience there is a 24hr Tesco extra 2 min walk away & a chain pub & a couple of takeaways a little further down the rd, approx 5/10 min walk. Tram stop into central Manchester is approx 5 walk away & it’ll have you in central Manchester within 10 min for around 2gbp. We would gladly stay here again, classic Travelodge - modern, clean, well positioned….. obviously understaffed but those that are there are very helpful & friendly.

Staff were great when you could find one but I’m glad it wasn’t v busy they could do with twice the umber of staff. There was a v smiley lady on the desk each morning which was lovely. Breakfasts were great, evening meal was better than expected. Weirdly the prices of the beers on draught were not on the drinks menus.

Staff were friendly and helpful although appeared a little understaffed. In the evening there was one man checking guests in, manning the bar and delivering food to tables. In the morning they could not keep up with the hot breakfast and lots of people waiting around for items to be brought out. None of this was there fault and perhaps a little more investment in staff as a company might help with this. We had to complain to reception as 2 nights running the room above of us seemed to be having a stamping competition with each other, including early hours of the morning. Again, staff were helpful and went to speak to the offending room. Cleanliness of rooms was not excellent, bathroom in particular needed some extra attention, soaps were not full and only half a roll of toilet paper left. The website claimed it had been refurbished but this was hard to see, especially as we stayed in a travelodge in December in London and the standards were much higher. All in all, great location but I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Fantastic stay one of the best hotels in Manchester I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone coming to visit the bed was really comfy I had one of the best night sleeps I’ve had in a while the service was absolutely fantastic staff Izzy and magda were fantastic

The bed was so comfy had the best nights sleep also couldn’t ask for a better bunch of employees, also the service that I have received while being in this great building gives me confidence to stay here again and also will be recommending to family and friends. Thank you also to Izzy and magda

The staff were great gave us a accesable room and were so helpful and went above and beyond to help ad much as they could , easy to move around in a wheelchair and prices was reasonable and the food and drinks were great. Definitely would book again

Stayed at the Salford Quays Travelodge last minute and couldn't reccomend it more. After a long journey there's nothing more relieving than a friendly face, a lovely member of staff Izzy sorted us out and made sure we understood where all the local amenities are as well as what the travelodge has to offer. Very friendly, thank you for the warm welcome to Salford :) Clean rooms, friendly staff and comfy bed, what more could you want

Nice pleasant room. Very tidy and comfortable. Reasonably priced. A little bit further out than we needed for our night out but it was easy to get to and very welcoming. Would definitely use again. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you for everything.

Really friendly staff, Izzy on front desk was very helpful Breakfast in the morning was lovely and had a lot of options The rooms were threat, beds were immaculate and everything was perfectly clean. There was no noise from the surrounding rooms or hallway either.
