Because Walter mitty Movie Feeling chose to live in this town. There are very few hotel choices, this is the Icelandic chain brand. The bed is really too small, I am not used to such a small bed. There is a burger restaurant nearby that is very delicious, and there is a bonus supermarket also very close to ～ But the hotel is full of warning signs such as rules and fine regulations, which don't seem to be humane.

My wife and I stayed here the night we arrived by ferry boat from the West Fjords. It’s literally a two minute drive when getting off the boat, and easy to find. Keep in mind it is a “religious” hotel with Sunday mass at the location, but they host guests of all religions or none at all. No reason to feel uncomfortable about this. We found the hotel to be quiet, inviting, and clean, though the room we had was quite small with no view since it looked over the temporary parking in front of the lobby. The bathroom was perhaps the smallest and plainest we had of all hotels we stayed at in Iceland, and had almost no sink space. So keep that in mind if 2+ people are staying in the room. I liked the buffet breakfast, and the breakfast room is huge for a hotel this size. Didn’t feel cramped at all, compared to many other hotel breakfast rooms. The selection is good, including a sweet tasting herring that I loved!
