Americas Best Value Inn Sullivan

Clean rooms, comfy beds, horrible customer service. The third party app I booked through had some complications with my payment, the hotel manager said he didn’t receive the payment the following morning and tried to make me pay for the 1 night stay twice even though I had the bank statement to prove I paid it, and got my confirmation. When I refused to pay for it again, he then refused to give my cash deposit back and threatened to call the police. So I said I would call them myself if he didn’t give me my money back. He then cussed my out, threw my 40$ deposit at me, and told me I was never aloud back at his hotel again. I tried to help figure the situation out and calling the third party (trip.com) trip told me it was an issue on their end and all they had to do was talk with the manager to get my payment sent to the hotel, but the hotel manager refused to answer their calls. Thankfully Trip made it right. I would not recommend this hotel.

It was a very nice stay. The staff were pleasant and respectful.

I stayed here for a week and they never asked me any days if I needed any kind of house keeping. No one offered to change linens, bring fresh towels, or toilet paper.

Staffing where very nice, but we seemed to not be able to get clean towels till our 4th day there out of 6... our beds where never done... they replaced out micro wave.the rug made our feet black do to no one came to clean room yes, the floor in the bathroom was nasty also... I had to replace a burnt out bulb in bathroom.. They said only smokin outside, but whomever smoked inside there room our vent from the bathroom ****** the smoke in to our bathroom. We are non smokers..Sorry to say this was only good if it was only a day stay.

Very convenient access from the Interstate. Very affordable. Nice town. Nice staff. Quiet.

The Beds were comfortable for any of. No breakfast like there was so post to be. Staff wasn't nice. Ignored me when I asked about Breakfast. Had to fight with the air unit to get it 2 work. JC

It’s alright. If you are looking for cheap stay 10-15 mins away from meramec caverns, this is the place. Nothing fancy about this place.

No Air cond, fan only: Bathtub had a hole in it : Bathroom ceiling full of peeling paint: Bathroom sink only had hot water, faucet just spun around: microwave didn't work: Bad bed springs: When the door was closed there was a 1/2 inch air space: Didn't even try the breakfast. The refrigerator did work. Spoke the management on these issues and he said he would look into it

The service and staff were the BEST I been around in a while!!! Always attentive to our needs when it came to the room or amenities!!! Thank you very much!
