We were pleasantly surprised by our stay. We had a beautiful room, very clean and comfortable and a beautiful sea view. Great atmosphere around the hotel. All staff very friendly and welcoming. The spa was an added bonus especially on a cloudy day, easy to book treatment for the next day and great treatment rooms. Tia gave a great massage. Breakfast was excellent, honestly so much choice. Whatever you could possibly want was available. Dinner also super, so much choice, nice atmosphere, staff extremely quick to get drinks orders to tables. Pleasant outdoor area and atmosphere. Swimming pool also great with towels provided. The hotel is right on the beach front. Beautiful crystal clear water and lovely beaches. Walking in either direction was great. Flat Coast path made for easy walking. Beautiful views and sunsets. Brela is a small town, the centre about 10mins walk from hotel. But near to the hotel are several restaurants and cafes and delicious ice cream! All in all, we had a great 4 days away. Would recommend.

Pros: • The location is undeniably beautiful, offering stunning views from the sea-view rooms. • Lovely beaches are nearby, along with beachfront restaurants that provide a great dining experience. Cons: Unfortunately, our overall experience was far from pleasant. 1. Breakfast: • The food was consistently cold and far from fresh. • The fruit provided was tinned, and the juice from the machine was subpar, tasting artificial and unpleasant. • We were surprised to find that even water at the restaurant came at an extra cost. 2. Staff Attitude: • Upon arrival, the receptionist made us feel unwelcome, displaying an obvious lack of interest. 3. Parking & Accessibility: • Parking costs €9 per day and isn’t even on the hotel premises. • The hotel itself is hard to find by car, adding unnecessary stress to our arrival. 4. Room & Balcony Issues: • Our room had a persistent, unpleasant odor. • The balcony glass was cracked, making it feel unsafe. • There were only uncomfortable chairs on the balcony—no loungers or beds to relax on. • One of the tiles on the balcony was loose and coming up, which posed a potential hazard. • The bathroom tap was filthy and completely unacceptable (photos attached). 5. Hotel Appearance: • The exterior is extremely run-down and in dire need of a fresh coat of paint to make it more appealing. 6. Pool Area: • There were hardly any sunbeds available at the pool, forcing us to go to the beach instead. However, this meant paying an additional €9 per day for a sunbed, which quickly added up. 7. Restaurant Experience: • Staff require payment for drinks as you go, which disrupts the dining experience and feels overly rigid. • Dinner hours are limited to 7–9 PM, and during this time, the restaurant becomes overcrowded with long queues for food. Overall, while the location is fantastic, the hotel’s shortcomings in service, cleanliness, and overall management overshadow any positives. We would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made. I would definitely not class this as a four star hotel probably be closer to 3. We actually almost moved hotels in the middle of our trip as we really weren’t enjoying it and regretted booking this hotel. We also found the food signs to be incorrect one of them had vegan chilli but in allergens said milk? Made me seriously doubt how true the tags were.

We stayed in a double side sea view room and it was lovely - nice, modern and very clean. Hairdryer was not included and we had to ask for it. On arrival, staff were friendly but had very little information about bus timetables etc considering Brela only had 2 restaurants open. Instead, we walked up a relatively steep hill to find the bus timetable and we luckily timed it right to catch a bus into Split - I’ve added the timetable (April 2025). Moreover, we walked to Baska Voda and took a bus to Markaska which were both very lovely and had a bit more going on. Unfortunately weather was a bit rubbish aside from two days that were sunny with a strong wind. Our main down side of our holiday was the restaurant and the food situation. Breakfast was good: juice available and a fairly good selection of food. However, dinner was not as good. Limited selection of food & poor service (no one came over to take drinks unless we called them over and even added a service charge which was unclear if it was mandatory or not). Additionally no one seemed to dress up? Maybe it’s the time of year we went but we felt quite disappointed. Overall, Brela is lovely and even out of peak we loved the scenery and restaurants outside the hotel are cheaper and seemed friendlier. Other places we visited also were lovely and would recommend as Croatia is very beautiful. Would just be nicer if the hotel had more going on (no entertainment, no games room, bars seemed closed and outdoor pool closed) and we ended up going to bed early. It would also be helpful for reception to have a map of the hotel and bus timetables.

This holiday was a surprise birthday treat from my Daughter It wasn't our original booking but they offered us this hotel instead Beautiful hotel, room was spacious & adequate & a lovely view of the sea. Restaurant was amazing, a great selection of food at breakfast & dinner. They catered for everyone Very friendly staff in the restaurant They even allowed us to grab breakfast at 6.30am before we left st 7am The hotel was quite mainly because it was out of season but it suited us both as we just wanted to chill & do nothing. My only complaint is that we wasn't offered the conveyor belt on our departure. I am in my 70s & our mini bus pick.up was up the top of a steep hill, after chatting to another couple that were also waiting their suitcases were sent up the "easier" route. One other tiny fault, the cups in the room were far to small for a decent early morning cuppa!! Unless you like alot of walking or hire a car there isn't much to do here. We did find a supermarket & carried on walking till we ended up.on the seafront, walked back to the hotel That was a lovely walk & pretty scenery We passed a lovey little harbour in Plaza Soline. This was a bit busier with a few cafes & restaurants

This hotel is okay. It has been refurbished, but in areas it is tired and run down eg. Bleach marks all over carpets in corridors from cleaning just isn’t a great finish. It is a busy family hotel - if you’re a couple looking for a relaxing break we would highly suggest going adults only if you even think kids would bother you. We chanced it and whilst it didn’t ruin the trip and kids are kids, it’s somewhat chaotic at breakfast with kids piling high plates of croissants so none were left/ loud etc. The biggest disappointment about the hotel is the lack of sunbeds. It has been stressed in previous reviews but genuinely if you’re looking for a relaxing holiday with no issue finding a sun bed, this hotel will not be for you. In our entire weeks stay, not once did we get the chance to use the sunbeds by the pool because they were all “reserved” at the crack of dawn even though there are signs saying not to. There are so few beds you have no chance so we had to pay for a parasol every day at the beach. Definitely not what you’d expect. We complained at reception about this on our last day and they could not have cared less. The female manager we spoke to was actually smirking / seemed very entertained we were complaining about it. There is quite simply not enough beds for the amount of people staying at the hotel, I don’t understand how it is allowed. The only silver lining was Brela itself is absolutely stunning. So picturesque that we didn’t mind going to the beach, in fact we preferred it in the end especially how unwelcoming the pool area felt. Lots of lovely waterfront bars and you must go to the restaurants higher up. We’d recommend getting an Airbnb instead.
