SiXiangXingChenHotel
"The room is very unique, the children love it very much, saying it is like a princess's castle. The terrace is very large. Sitting on the terrace at night, enjoying the breeze, listening to the water, watching the stars, and feeling the coolness of Sunan, is very comfortable. The largest prayer wheel is right next to the hotel. I highly recommend the Qilian Natural History Museum in Sunan."
Mati Yunqi Homestay (Mati Temple Scenic Area)
"Choosing Yunqi as our first stop in Zhangye was a very satisfying experience. Our flight landed in Zhangye at 9:30 PM, and to save time and also to better experience the tranquility of Mati Temple before the crowds arrived the next day, we opted for a guesthouse within the scenic area. As one of the few guesthouses in the area, Yunqi was still in its trial operation phase, but as one of the first guests, our experience was excellent. We communicated with the owner beforehand via phone and WeChat, and they turned on the underfloor heating early. The room was clean and spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows and a starry sky ceiling, offering direct views of the snow-capped mountains. The breakfast the next day was also plentiful and healthy, quite good considering the limited resources within the park. Early in the morning, we saw herds of cattle and horses grazing around the guesthouse, as well as marmots and rabbits. Choosing to travel during off-peak hours can avoid queues. The weather at the foot of the snow-capped mountains was also very changeable; we experienced the Thirty-Three Heavens Grottoes under a blanket of snow, in clear skies, and shrouded in mist – a truly worthwhile trip!"
Xi Zhi Ha Zhi Hotel
"Opposite is the snow mountain, the room is relatively large"
Silk Road Jinma International Hotel (Mati Temple Scenic Area)
"It was a very pleasant experience. I like to choose newly opened hotels. This hotel gave me a good impression beyond my expectations. The bathing area is designed to be separated into dry and wet areas. The toiletries are also of good quality. I like the light fragrance. The location is excellent. You can see the prayer flags fluttering on the green hillside from the room. I highly recommend staying here when you come to Ma Ti Si. After a leisurely breakfast the next day, you can be the first to climb the Thirty-three Days Grottoes, which will save you a lot of time queuing."
Ma Ti Temple Wolong Villa
"As always I'll rate the hotel I stayed at relative to the cost incurred. So is it value for money? Location : The location could not be bettered. It is the closest hotel to the Mati Grottoes. Maybe a 500m walk away. Service : Very good, very friendly ! Welcoming and efficient on arrival. Took food orders for delivery at lunch and dinner (which helped a lot as in Winter all the restaurants in the village were closed)! And also helped me buy snacks in the afternoon (as the usual stores in the village were closed during Winter). Bedroom : Basic however with 2 beds (comfortable and clean) and a I really liked the sunny alcove with two seats and a table, to sit and drink tea/coffee (bring your own!). Bathroom : small but most importantly hot water and plenty of it ! The toilet is Western style not a squat (phew - good for my old knees!) Breakfast : was provided but as I don't often eat breakfast I can't comment further. You shouldn't expect a 5 star hotel, it's a basic Chinese hotel so don't get expectations up, however it is great value for money, clean and has everything you'd need for a short stay. I would definitely stay here again !"

"The room is quite big and hygienic, okay~? It's so close to the scenic spot that you can walk there, so you don't have to worry about driving and parking~? The room is quite big and hygienic, okay~? Sunan Helange Homestay
"The room has a beautiful view and is definitely worth staying in!"
Gesanghua Homestay
"The room was very small, and there were many flies. I killed four before going to bed. There was no air conditioning, only an electric blanket, which worked. The duvet cover looked okay at first glance, but when I lifted the blanket, the duvet cover, sheets, and pillowcases were all very dirty. I could only use a disposable four-piece bedding set. There was hot water."
Dongna Hotel
"Just opposite the Wenshu Mountain Grottoes Scenic Area, I wanted to visit the Grottoes early, so I decided to go here. This scenic spot is ten kilometers away from Jiuquan Old Station and Jiayuguan High-speed Railway Station. It is very convenient, the environment in the mountains is good, and it is very quiet. The hotel is very luxurious and the area is large. I took the elderly and children to live. Praise!"
