Premier Inn Sunbury (Kempton Park)

Our favourite Premier Inn; every school holiday starts with the children saying ‘are we going to Sunbury?’ even when the place they are hoping to visit is in another part of the country! Every guest is treated as a VIP thanks to the tireless efforts of the genuinely lovely staff. Apula and Jamie were busily making sure everything was perfect, managers that aren’t afraid of hard work and getting stuck in themselves to whatever needs doing! and Ronnie is constantly on the go at breakfast, quickly making sure everything is topped up and perfect, checking if there is anything else guests would like. Everyone is so cheerful and friendly, it’s a lovely experience from check in to check out.

Was in the area for family funeral, so the hotel cost for 2 nights was good. Decent check in experience, before a later rush… staff pleasant and helpful Musty room on entering, bathroom fan did not work properly and made everything in the bathroom damp/wet after showering. Bed comfy and pillow ok. Definitely needs a revamp. New toilet pan but old bath. No toothmugs or even plastic cups to use. Didn’t use their parking, pre booked the multi storey through Just Park (this was virtually empty) at a cost of £8 for 48 hours. A much better deal than their own. Food was ok on first night (Makhani curry) but the salad on the second night was absolutely rubbish - just iceberg, about 1/4 of a red pepper diced, the same for the cucumber and a handful of sweetcorn and croutons. I’ve bought better salads in Asda!
