You get what you pay for hotel is lovely and clean beach bar is cheap bar staff friendly lots of people you talk to have been going for years It is very basic and any extras have to be paid for but on the whole would go back again in the future Only down fall breakfast was a let down but we didn't bother cos it's cheap enough to eat out

The hotel is in an amazing location. Close to shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel as itself is clean the mattresses and pillows could be done with upgrading as they are very yellow and stained. The Aircon works amazing. I’m not sure exactly how the food is because we only really ate chips there.

I'm here now and I feel the need to reassure people. If you come here with the mindset that it is a "2 star" hotel then you shouldn't be disappointed. It's perfectly fine for the very cheap price we paid. My room is clean. Everything works. The staff have all been considerate and helpful (tip, try learning a few words of Bulgarian, it goes a long way). The breakfast is not the best but toast, cheese and ham, tomatoes, cucumber can't be messed up. The scrambled egg and hot dogs are a bit repetitive now I must admit. The pool is clean, the loungers plentiful. I really don't recognise some of the reviews on here. I'm very content here. I would stay again although I do enjoy visiting different hotels when I return to Sunny Beach. Finally, from what I can see, the difference between 2 and 3 stars is a fridge. Dont be put off. Pay a cheaper rate and accept that you won't be receiving a 4 star service.

We loved it. We found all the staff helpful and really pleasant. Yes the hotel is a bit tired but what do you expect for the price. Our room was clean and comfortable. We didn’t use the pool as we enjoy the beach. This family run hotel we think is friendly clean and in a great place as it is central for everything you wish for. If it was that bad as the reviews say why would people keep going back? We’ve been back three times and would not stay anywhere else.

This could be a long one but I'll try and keep it short. Well, the good point... location.... that's where it ends....extra for a hairdryer 20lev, extra if you want a kettle, extra for a cup... room never cleaned... maid comes in empties the bin chucks in a toilet roll and leaves. Carpeted floor which is ringing, I wouldn't walk on it bare foot. Shower was loose, over the sink just about and soaks everything, no chance of having a pee once the shower has been used... don't use your towels as if you leave a small mark on them they take them off you, and wait for you to ask for more then embarrass you by saying try are marked and that they need to replace them at 15lev EACH. Pool is scummy and has a dark line constantly around the edges the pool man scrubs it off then empties the bucket into the water!!!!. Pool bar staff are lovely but reception staff are rude, abrupt and very unhelpful making you feel like your a nuisance. Stay Away unless your a hard drinker who doesn't like the sun and doesn't want to use the pool

We went on a last minute family holiday here for 14 nights due to our original holiday to Tenerife being cancelled the day we were due to fly. Never in my life have I ever been to a hotel so run down and unhygienic. We travel every year to different destinations on family holidays and have never come across a hotel as awful as ARDA. This is a list of all the things that we came across - The foyer smelt of drains constantly Sunbeds were broken Pool didn’t have a filter and was filthy Rooms were absolutely disgusting and had someone’s previous underwear still in there Rooms were not cleaned once in 2 weeks Bedding was not changed in 2 weeks Had towels changed twice (after asking) Light sockets hanging off the walls with live wires exposed Bathroom sink wouldn’t drain Shower always cold and stopped working after 5 minutes of usage Fridge didn’t get cold and was changed twice We spoke to the manager of ARDA about our concerns of the conditions of the rooms and she was passive aggressive and really rude. She was also speaking Bulgarian to a colleague and tutting at us. Her answer was that we could upgrade our room for more money (we were already in the 3* part of the hotel). We then took it further and went to Balkan Holidays main office and made a complaint due to the management being unhelpful and rude. They offered a change of hotel but at the cost of £3,500 for 7 people. Most other guests we spoke to felt the same and had also made complaints about the rooms etc. I would recommend anyone to AVOID this hotel. I would not return if someone paid me too.

Do not go to this hotel, it’s disgusting! The rooms are old and filthy, mattresses are absolutely disgusting id be ashamed to let my dog sleep on them! thread bare sheets and towels, carpets patched together, light fittings either hanging off the wall or left dangerously exposed. Mould on the walls and the stench coming from the drain in the bathroom wow. It absolutely stinks to high heaven! Broken table and chair on the balcony and the handrail loose! The shower was a mixer tap on the wall and a hose- nothing more. Being on the 8th floor the pressure was pathetic and it was consistently cold! The photos of the rooms on the website must be of a completely different hotel because they’re nothing like what I and other guests had. I went down to the hotel restaurant in the morning after arriving late in the night expecting some half decent food to be sorely disappointed. Very very basic food, very little choice, flies everywhere. You’d be better off eating dog food! I ate in restaurants for every single meal. It’s shameful. In summary, I would never, ever go back to this hotel and if you’re due to visit, change hotels or just stay at home! You’ve been warned.
