There's not much to do nearby, but there's a restaurant downstairs, which is probably one of the few options in the area. "This is, in my opinion, an excellent quiet location, but walking distance from Sur's main attractions. Don't miss going up the rocky trail to the right of the hotel, under any circumstances! It's quite a traditional hotel, and I can understand why there are comments about the rooms needing upgrading. The beds were hard, which was fine for me, but my wife didn't like, and the rooms are pretty spacious, decent enough bathrooms etc. The air conditioning was ok in winter, but felt like it might not be up to the task in the summer. Generally clean and tidy, with friendly staff. The onsite restaurant is pretty good, overall, better for dinner than for breakfast, in my opinion. Adequate parking, too. I honestly don't feel there are a lot of better options in Sur, yet. It's not the only place, but the others are further out, and don't look particularly pedestrian friendly. This was also really easy to find."
