Oaks Gold Coast Hotel

The hotel boasts a fantastic view and very clean rooms. Its proximity to the light rail station makes getting around incredibly convenient.

Location: There's a tram stop right outside, which is about two stops away from Surfers Paradise. The trams run quite late, so getting around wasn't an issue. However, there aren't any large supermarkets like Woolworths or Coles nearby, which made buying groceries a bit inconvenient. On the bright side, the famous O Bagel is just a 4-minute walk away, which was a definite plus. Facilities: The room was spacious and came with a microwave, kettle, and fridge, which was perfectly adequate for simple food heating. The in-room Wi-Fi wasn't working initially, but the front desk helped sort it out. From the balcony, you could see the ocean in the distance, which was quite refreshing overall. There's a swimming pool downstairs that hotel guests can use.

The room's location is decent, about a 7-minute drive to the town center. The room itself is a bit old, and the carpet is a little dirty, but it's spacious, so it still offers good value for money.
