The Grove Cromer

Welcomed like royalty, dined like kings, slept like babies and laughed like drains. There was none of your corporate blandness at the Grove. It was once a family home and still feels like it. They even arranged for the sun to shine all day and to rain at night. What a team - what a place.

Lovely relaxed stay. Stayed with our daughter son in law and family. We loved the pool and the delicious breakfasts each morning. The location was fantastic enhanced by the walk straight to the beach. The pool was superb and very warm. Staff were very supportive and nothing seemed to much trouble for them

We've stayed half a dozen times over the last few years, but never in the main house. We had 2 rooms next to each other and were really impressed with the quality and size of each. The hotel remains charming, with great food in the hotel itself, and a lovely addition of the Sundowner restaurant for some tapas or pizza. Kids are always happy to run around, and have a swim, and we love being able to walk through the woods to reach the clifftops and stroll past a playground in to Cromer. There's always a gruffalo hiding in the woods for the kids to find, no matter how old they get... Lovely, friendly service, and very reasonably priced.. I think on balance, we'd probably grab a cottage again for the space, but pleased to see that the inside is so nice.

We stayed for night a couple away , staff were friendly and the room as clean very central to the shops and beach Negatives There was two single beds pushed together for a double , expected a double bed for what we payed for , Bathroom needs updates Swimming not much availability for us which was disappointing, We handed back the keys should have been ask how our stay was , but says goodbye , .

Cannot recommend this lovely hotel enough. We were welcomed and shown to our lovely outside room, Honey Pippin - which was quiet, nicely decorated and surrounded by the a yummy home-grown vegetable garden and grounds. We booked a swimming pool session for the afternoon, the pool is great and was the perfect temperature and depth to take our baby swimming! Even better the swimming sessions are private! We had dinner and it was exceptional! The food was scrumptious and a nice touch featuring homegrown produce and accompanied by fantastic wines. We met the owner during dinner, Richard and what a welcoming, generous and thoughtful man. We cannot wait to return and would tell anyone to visit here! Thank you ever so much for your hospitality and kindness - wonderful place.

I had a lovely four night stay at The Grove.The accomodation was very good,the food was excellent and all the staff were delightful;friendly ,obliging and very efficient.I loved the swimming pool ,the water was a decent temperature.I also loved the grounds,what a beautiful setting!My only little problem was sometimes finding it hard to find a parking spot when I had been out for the day.
