So we said to our friend Fag Ash Lill would you care to come out with us sometime for lunch. Cor blimey she said not Arf. My mate Flossy Bagwash said there’s a banging Gaff in Sutton Scotney , With Banging Snap and Banging Wallop. ( that’s Bagwash speak for Happy Ambiance, Lovely Food and Fine Ales. ) Also, the staff are Cheerful and Attentive. The Landlord… Hmmm Strange… Ho Hum… Recommend you give it a try Folks, you will not be disappointed. Or as Flossy Bagwash would say, Sssweeeet. Clocky Grump of Overton.

Stayed in this lovely country pub for a night during a golf break. The rooms are separate from the pub, adjoining the car park. Our twin room (Dennis) was huge, clean and very smart, with very comfy beds. We had an evening meal which was good value with large portions, and accompanied by a good selection of beers. All the staff are friendly (thanks Cheryl). A relaxed and laid back pub with a good welcome. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

We have just had an amazing lunch at the Coach and Horses. We both had roast beef with all the trimmings. Everything was perfectly cooked, very tasty and hot. Dave and his team are very efficient and friendly. A very welcoming pub and very busy. We recommend it 100 percent and will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing ribeye steak and super friendly efficient staff and landlord. We were staying nearby and ate here both nights. Delicious, shame we missed the panto at the village hall tho, that would have topped it off, lol.

On holiday so not from the area but if we were then we would be regulars. The friendly and welcoming landlord David and staff was great. Lovely atmosphere from start to finish. We had an evening meal which was perfect. Our food came out prompt and piping hot and the waitress could not have been more helpful. I'm a fussy eater and its not unusual for me to send food back for one reason or another but this was home from home. Excellent. We would thoroughly recommend The Coach and Horses and we will aim to visit again! Sharron & Dennis

What a fantastic pub, the owner was lovely and eager to offer help when we had a local power cut, he allowed us to order takeaway food and offered plates and cutlery to eat in as there was no power. The other staff were so helpful and locals lovely

Stopped in for a bite to eat on a long journey home and this pub was amazing! A brilliant amount of choice on the menu for both adults and children, a great play area for my four year old who loved it and the food and drink were just incredible! Super tasty. We had the ham egg and chips and beef bouginon and both were amazing. Great little pub and the staff were super attentive, helpful and friendly too.
