Suwon Paldal-gu Hotels

Great place to stay, everything is new and clean. Staff was friendly. It’s 7-10 min walk from closest metro and 3 min walk to bus stop to suwon station or main attractions. Many CVS around, coffee shops and places to eat. Breakfasts at the hotel are affordable but I didn’t use this option. I had a microwave, a kettle and a small fridge in my room. Free 2 bottles of water every day, tea and coffee as well.

I arrived way before check-in time and, without question, the owner gave me a key for a room that was already prepared. Very kind of him. Room was well equipped. I never heard any noise all night. Great value for the price. Not being able to speak Korean I found it a bit hard to find but largely because the English translation of the name in Trip.com was different from what was actually on the hotels signs! Sign outside the hotel says Royal Motel. But a woman from neighbouring shop quickly took me to it. So no problem really.

It is quite hidden to find it. As there aren't many parking spaces, you need to go to the reception and he's even going to park your car where a cone is reserving the parking space for the Malu Hotel after you check-in. The bed was a bit bouncy but okay, as I didn't slept much. You can hear people talking in the corridor through the door. There was a small kitchen with a kettle and microwave. A fridge and tiny freezer in it, with bottles of water. The shower head handle was cracked so the water was leaking from there too, but I had a nice hot shower with a big towel since a long time.

Convenient transportation, not far from the subway station Facilities: There is no socket at the bedside, and only 2 power strips connected to the TV are powered. Fortunately, a friend brought a power strip. The table is rotten, it is recommended to change Hygiene: Hygiene is actually a little worse, I hope to correct it The toilet is still stained and there is hair on the bedside.

I followed the location information on Trip.com and went down to the underground shopping mall of Suwon Station and exited through Exit 11. I could easily find the 'Rodeo Street' sign because it was right there. Since 'Rodeo Street' is connected to 'Hyanggyo-ro', it was very easy to find, and the owner's kindness is the strength of this accommodation. I think it is a good value for money accommodation for the price. If I have another chance to go near Suwon Station, I want to go there again and stay there.

The bed is good. The cleanliness is perfect. I have rhinitis, so if the cleaning is not good, my nose gets blocked, but here I slept well with my nose unclogged. The room is spacious. I couldn't help but think, ”Is this much space worth this price?” There were some cons, such as there being no bathtub, the hotel facilities were lacking, there were steps when getting on and off the elevator, and there was a lot of noise from the next room, and people talking in the hallway could be heard, but it's not bad.

The lighting in the room was very bright, comfortable and comfortable. I think the size is enough.

Family room is big with 2 queen beds. Room is clean and amenities provided is good with water dispenser machine, teabag and coffee mix at floor level. Newly built located next to arte hotel. However, there is no shower curtain, as such the floor is pretty wet after each shower. It may be good that there are more hooks or hangers provided in a family room for 4 pax use. Location - near many good eateries and restaurants, and drinking places. CU is just opposite the hotel which is a plus. For travellers who are not driving, its a hassle to pull your bag through uneven pavement to find the hotel. (Nearest suwon city hall stop). We requested for leave luggage at reception which was obliged before and after check in and out.
