The location is fantastic, really ideal. The room was clean and spacious. However, guests staying on the second floor need to use the stairs as there's no elevator in this guesthouse. The good thing is that the front desk staff will help carry your luggage up to the second floor, so the service is excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

Located inside the scenic area, right across from the ancient opera stage pier. It's clean, and the service is warm and attentive. The accommodation area requires a key card for entry, which offers great privacy. Excellent value for money.

The Qilidai Hotel is right within the Qilitang scenic area. It's really quiet despite being in a popular spot, and super clean. The family room even has a big bathtub, which was great! They also gave a small gift to our child, which was a nice touch. Very happy with everything, highly recommend!

Sleeping by the water, I simply open the wooden window to this flowing tapestry of Jiangnan. In the early morning, the sound of oar boats cuts through the misty haze, like a gentle good morning; at night, the warm glow of red lanterns shimmers on the river, swaying with the breeze. I brewed a cup of Biluochun tea and sat on the riverside 'beauty's rest' bench, watching the boats shuttle by. All worldly worries naturally stayed outside the alley. The most precious thing was the comforting tranquility—the bedding was soft, and the service was attentive.

The location is right on Shantang Street, and it's not far from the Ximins Farmers Market and the subway station next door, about a five-minute walk, so getting around is very convenient. Facilities: Standard guesthouse facilities, and overall they look quite new. It was pretty cold when I visited, but the room's air conditioning worked well, so I didn't feel like the temperature wasn't reaching the right level. Hygiene: I ran my hand over several surfaces and didn't feel any dust. There were no obvious stains in the room either, so it was relatively clean. Environment: The guesthouse clearly separates public areas from guest-only areas. General visitors can only access the lobby, and the accommodation sections require a key card to enter and are separated by frosted glass doors, so privacy is not an issue. There's also a lounge area on the first floor with a double-height ceiling and some greenery, and the sunlight coming in makes it very comfortable. You can relax here if you don't want to stay in your room. Service: All the staff members were very polite. They greeted me when I came in and out, helped with key cards, and had a great attitude. They were always available, and actively helped resolve any small issues. Although it's in a tourist area, there's a short path separating the accommodation from the main street, so I wasn't disturbed by the noise of tourists outside. The key card access to the accommodation area also prevents guests from feeling like they are part of a spectacle, which I appreciate. The soundproofing was relatively poor; I could hear my neighbor showering 😂. However, I'm a good sleeper, and the other guests weren't making much noise, so overall it didn't affect my rest. If you're looking for a place to stay in the Shantang Street area, I highly recommend it.
