The hotel is super convenient, located right on Shantang Street, making it easy to eat and explore. Around 4:30 PM, there are song and dance performances which are quite lively. The hotel's greenery is lovely and really brightens your mood. I'd definitely stay here again.

The environment here is lovely, it's a courtyard-style hotel with the charm of a classical Suzhou garden. The service is also very attentive; any issues we raised were promptly resolved, which made us very happy. Right across the street is Shantang Street, and various traditional Suzhou eateries and shops are all around. It's also conveniently close to city attractions. They even provide complimentary boat tickets, and the Suzhou 'pingtan' (storytelling and ballad singing) was wonderful to listen to. We'll definitely be back!

The hotel is located in mid of all shangtang activities n near all restaurants n Piers.i got free breakfast n a fruit basket on checkin. You can also enjoy the free opera, suzhou singing n dance from tea break onwards.the hotel next to river n has a spot to sit n view the river n relax. Also the hotel is next to a bubble tea shop which has good latte and cream n nuts topping.

The rooms are really unique, and staying in Shantang Street, the location is excellent. The hotel environment is also beautiful, with stunning scenery along the canal. The front desk service was great; any requests we had were handled promptly. We got two boat tickets each day, and taking the kids on the boat was a lot of fun. We enjoyed the night views of both the Ancient Grand Canal and Shantang Line, which was very pleasant. The owner was very kind; seeing that we had two children, they gave us a complimentary breakfast for one day, and the breakfast was also very rich. We could also enjoy Pingtan performances. Highly recommended!

The hotel was great! Really the best view, quiet and well maintained territory, very authentic. old Shantang road starts just across the street, food stalls are much better here IMO. We had three rooms for three friends, the hotel provided s with both early check-in and late checkout for free, the guy at the reception desk was very helpful! I messed with my bookings and forgot to book a breakfast for two rooms , we were also offered all three for free. Hotel provides vouchers for free boat ride, recommend to do in after the sunset for the best experience. Rooms are comfortable; the only strange thing is that the bathroom zone (well equipped and very clean, though) is not separated at all except for the shower cabin. We were a group of friends living in separate rooms so that was OK, but for couples this can be somewhat unexpected.
