Wudu Holiday Hotel (Suzhou Guanqian Street Humble Administrator Garden)

The owner was really nice; she even called to check on us when we were running late. When we arrived, she upgraded our room, which was also very clean. The only minor issue was the soundproofing, but other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

Choosing the right hotel for our summer vacation in Suzhou with the kids was a great decision. It's close to the gardens and conveniently located. Even though it was the rainy season and rained frequently, we had to go back to the hotel four times a day. We could rest at the hotel when it rained and then continue our trip when the rain stopped – it was surprisingly convenient! I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Suzhou. The hotel environment was also excellent – ​​clean, bright, and a pleasant experience.

When I arrived, the owner was installing soundproofing panels in the rooms, explaining that during the summer holidays, many parents bring their children on trips, and the kids get quite excited, which can easily disturb each other at night. I had also seen reviews mentioning soundproofing, and after experiencing it myself, I found it quite good. Considering that hotel rooms are so close together, unlike home, the soundproofing is excellent. Furthermore, the rooms were very clean, and the service was warm and attentive. While waiting for my room, they even offered me refreshing lemon water. This is a very welcoming hotel.

Suzhou is beautiful even in the rain. The lotus flowers in the scenic areas are in bloom. The hotel is super close to the Lion Grove Garden. The lovely hotel staff even kindly gave us umbrellas and reminded us to be careful. The room was quite clean, and the bedding was very dry even though it was the rainy season. They also have a wide variety of takeout options for rainy days when you don't want to go out. I highly recommend choosing this hotel; you definitely won't be disappointed.

The price, location, and the owner's attitude were all good, but that's about it. I lay down for a while and then started feeling itchy... I packed up and checked out around 11 PM.

The environment was unclean and unhygienic, so we changed hotels overnight.

This was a terrible experience! We booked a family room, but it was actually in the attic. My husband and son both bumped their heads on a broken beam, and nearly a third of their backs are now unable to straighten up. They couldn't even straighten their backs on the double bed. There was no elevator, so we had to carry two large suitcases up four flights of stairs to the attic. There were many small flying insects on the bed and spiders in the corners. I don't know how this hotel got such good reviews on Dianping (a Chinese review platform). I strongly advise against booking family rooms at this hotel.

房間乾淨整潔，離蘇博，拙政園和獅子林非常的近，出門交通也方便，非常不錯，價格也實惠。老闆人非常熱情，推薦入住。

服務很好，阿姨也很耐心，旁邊就是吃飯的地方，很方便。住的也很靠近景點，房間比較大，感覺很舒服，下次還來。
