Facilities: Although an older hotel, it's very clean. The lobby is bright and spacious, with a tea room for tourists. The gym is outsourced, so I didn't use it, but I checked it out and it was very professional. Overall, the facilities are quite good, and none of the issues mentioned in the reviews are present. Cleanliness: I really want to commend the housekeeping manager. He's a great leader, and his management and service ethic are exceptional. Although we only stayed two days, the two women I met did an excellent job. I called ahead to request the use of the bathtub, and they made sure to let me know it was disinfected. They greeted us with a smile and were very generous. We also provided drinking water promptly and generously, and even offered to ask for more if we asked for more. It was a heartwarming gesture. The woman with glasses on the second day was truly five-star. She greeted us with a smile as we left, asked if we needed anything, and even asked if the room needed cleaning. It was truly heartwarming! It's true that only excellent leaders can produce such excellent staff! Service: Because I was attending a concert, I was hesitant between New Town Garden and Jinke. I'd stayed at New Town before, but it was too crowded with furry kids, so I chose Jinke. After reading the reviews, I was a little worried, so I called ahead to ask if a bathtub was available. The front desk staff specifically said they would arrange one for me and disinfect it. It was a great experience. I arrived at the hotel at 3:00 PM for check-in. The man who checked me in was very professional and friendly. I asked if it could be delayed, and they said yes. Thank you very much! Another plus! The entire check-in process was excellent, from the delivery of takeout to asking questions. However, I gave it a 4.5 rating because of one minor issue. I returned to the hotel at 1:00 PM, worried that my card wouldn't work due to a delay, so I went to the front desk to ask if I needed to swipe it before entering, since we requested a delay until 2:00 PM. A chubby, glasses-free girl answered yes. Then they said we had to return the card before 2:00 PM, no later than that. I thought to myself, "I already told you it's delayed until 2:00 PM," but I politely said, "We understand. Please get the card first!" She then went on to say we couldn't stay past 2 p.m., and if we were even a few minutes late, we'd have to deduct half a day's room rate. I was already furious. Language skills and emotional intelligence are crucial in service work, and repeated such comments can be frustrating, but I was in a hurry to get back to my room to pack, so I didn't mind. Then, when we got to the room, the card wouldn't work. It was the housekeeping lady who saw us, having seen us on our way out that morning. She eagerly asked about the situation and said, "I'll get it for you, because I saw you that morning and knew we were staying until 2 p.m." I was so lucky, or I'd have to run around. I was like, "Front desk lady, you're just so anxious to get us to check out before 2 p.m., but you're not doing your job properly." Even funnier, when I checked out at 1:58 p.m., the same lady said, "I'm going to start calling everyone upstairs to check out." I thought, "Unless rooms are extremely tight, a five-minute delay wouldn't be enough!" You could have just called back after five minutes and said it was past the time. These days, four- and five-star hotels rarely have this kind of pushy, time-sensitive approach. The funniest thing was, I was in the car when this lady called me at 2:03 to urge me to check out! It was speechless! An employee with low emotional intelligence and incompetence can ruin a team! I want to say that the hotel is very, very good overall. I was very satisfied with my stay. This was just a small incident. I think the hotel management is very capable, starting with the housekeeping department. I hope the hotel's service continues to improve. I'll stay at Jinke again for my next concert!
