Shangri-La Hotel, Suzhou

Choosing the right hotel in Suzhou can truly elevate your trip, and this stay far exceeded my expectations! ✨ The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and airy. The facilities were well-maintained and didn't feel old or dated. Gazing at Jinji Lake from the window was a delightful sight, instantly melting away the fatigue of a busy journey. I must give a special shout-out to Tina! She was incredibly friendly and kind, patiently explaining all of the hotel's services. Whenever I had questions, she responded promptly and handled everything properly, thinking of many small details that guests might overlook. Her service was truly heartwarming. The hotel's overall environment was tranquil, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. Transportation was convenient, making it easy for sightseeing and returning to the hotel. It's perfect for a getaway with friends, a family trip, or even a solo short-term stay. If you're visiting Suzhou, you can confidently book this place. It's already on my list of hotels to revisit!

My second stay this month in a Deluxe Club Twin Suite. Last time I was on the 34th floor, this time on the 43rd. There are only three rooms of this type in the entire hotel. Last time, Cecile handled my check-out, and this time she was also there for my check-in. Cecile remembered me and kindly helped me arrange a late check-out. Lying in bed, overlooking the night view of Shishan Road through the floor-to-ceiling windows was so therapeutic. Running into a former colleague at the elevator entrance during breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Swimming in the sun this morning was incredibly relaxing. I think I'll be back again very soon.

Having stayed at the Shangri-La on Tayuan Road before, I decided to revisit with my whole family during the National Day holiday this time. It certainly didn't disappoint! The room was spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of Lion Hill and the city. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep for the entire family. The hotel amenities are perfect for family trips. The heated swimming pool has a children's play area, so swimming in this weather isn't chilly at all. The gym is well-equipped, so both adults and children can find ways to relax. The location is superb, making travel very convenient. It's just a short drive to famous Suzhou attractions like Hanshan Temple and the west branch of the Suzhou Museum. The service is thoughtful and meticulous; check-in at the front desk was efficient, and Lisa was gentle and polite. The service was as attentive as ever. Even with the large crowds during National Day, he managed to arrange a room with a great view for us and even provided welcome fruit. The quality of service definitely didn't dip. For our whole family, it was a delightful National Day holiday spent here.

The hotel was exceptionally clean. The front desk and room service were excellent. There were no strange odors, and the bedding was very clean. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too hard. The food was also incredibly rich and plentiful. It truly lives up to the Shangri-La brand's reputation. Having stayed at several Shangri-La hotels, I've consistently found their gyms to be very well-equipped and professionally managed, which is a huge plus for me.

I've truly come to realize that all Shangri-La hotels are incredibly well-located, offering convenient access to attractions and dining options. The guest rooms are warmly decorated, and the executive floor boasts expansive views, with both the daytime cityscapes and the sparkling night lights providing a delightful experience. The service is, as always, top-notch, and I'd especially like to commend our butler, Lisa. From thoughtful communication before check-in to meticulous care during our stay, she was always quick to respond and as friendly as an old friend. The hotel's gym and swimming pool are well-equipped, making it easy to maintain a workout routine and relax. The breakfast spread is rich and varied, offering plenty of choices to fuel a day of activity! Choosing this hotel for our trip made us feel right at home, and I'll definitely be making it my go-to choice in the future!

The service, as always, was excellent, and we received complimentary welcome fruits. Although the hotel has some age, it doesn't feel old at all; the facilities are very well-maintained. It's an outstanding choice for its price range. The hygiene was spotless and tidy, and there was no noise at night. Being right next to Tianjie (a shopping street) was also very convenient.

The fresh greenery and flowers found throughout the hotel add a vibrant touch to the space. Lisa's polite and attentive service made the entire trip enjoyable and warm.
