Came to Suzhou Taihu Lake for a holiday with the kids and chose a hotel I've wanted to stay at for a long time. The hotel environment is great, with distant views of Taihu Lake and the option to hike Yuyang Mountain. There's also a pool, making it perfect for a vacation. The hotel butler service was excellent, always accommodating our requests, and even helped deliver takeout to our room. While the breakfast selection wasn't huge, the food was quite good, and my child enjoyed it. Highly recommended!

Pet-friendly + Pool Access + Hiking Bonus – This lakeside hotel truly understands a perfect getaway! I brought my furry friend and some friends for a weekend in Suzhou and chose Tai Mei Yi Jun, which far exceeded our expectations. 🐾 Genuinely Pet-Friendly: The staff were incredibly patient and welcoming. The cleaning fee was transparent, and there were no hassles during check-out. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Taihu Lake. 🥤 'Free Drinks' is a Huge Plus: The in-room mini-bar was complimentary, fully stocked with Coke, Sprite, sparkling water, and orange juice, with ample refills. The welcome fruit was fresh and generous. The specialty drinks at the lobby bar were both visually appealing and delicious. Enjoying a drink outdoors in the afternoon was incredibly relaxing. They even delivered our takeout right to our room and brought extra bottled water. 🏊 Pool You Can Trust: Both the indoor and outdoor heated pools were exceptionally clean, with no strong chlorine smell, making for a very comfortable swim. The changing rooms and showers were also well-maintained and dry, offering a great experience. ⛰️ Hidden Perk: Direct Access to Yuyang Mountain Trail: You can access Yuyang Mountain directly from the hotel's back gate, using your room card as a ticket, saving 60 yuan per person. The trail is well-maintained. A morning hike to the summit takes about half an hour, offering panoramic views of Taihu Lake – much more pleasant than crowded scenic spots. Overall, this hotel is perfect for bringing pets and friends, offering both a resort feel and outdoor adventure. I've already recommended it to my pet-owning friends and will definitely be back. Special thanks again to the lovely ladies at the front desk for the special drinks and handmade bar, the attentive butler who guided us in the group chat, the readily available shuttle bus drivers, the patient and cheerful gentlemen at the pool, the lady who taught frisbee, and all the staff members!

We stayed here as a family. The room was very clean, and we could see a partial lake view. There was a step down from the balcony to the room, which almost caused a fall. Overall, the room was neat and tidy. We had to ask about the package details ourselves; they weren't offered proactively. The customer service staff were all quite young and perhaps lacked some service awareness, but they were responsive once asked. Overall, we were quite satisfied with the service. The highlight was definitely the crayfish at the Western restaurant's seafood BBQ buffet – the best crayfish I've had this year 🦞. The hotel environment and facilities are just average, suitable for those who aren't too particular about amenities.

The hotel is nestled halfway up the mountain, surrounded by lush, beautiful, and refreshing greenery. It's also very convenient for hiking Yuyang Mountain.

The views are great, and while the facilities are a bit dated (it was built in 2019 after all), it's still very clean. The staff are exceptionally good; they were quick to arrange transportation, and the butler handled issues very promptly. It was too hot to go out for dinner, and the Chinese restaurant was unexpectedly delicious!

Located within the Yuyang Mountain scenic area, the room facilities are well-maintained, and the pool water is clean. The villa boasts four en-suite bedrooms plus a large living room, making it perfect for a large family getaway. There are also plenty of activities available, and the butler service is very responsive. It would be even better if the mahjong table in the villa was an automatic one!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Highly recommended! I stayed at the Suzhou Taimei Yijun Hotel for three consecutive days, and my overall experience was very satisfying. The hotel staff were enthusiastic and attentive, responding promptly to requests and patiently helping with any needs. I particularly want to praise the swimming pool! The water quality was impeccably maintained, crystal clear, and the environment was tidy. It was incredibly relaxing to swim there every day. The hotel environment is tranquil, nestled by mountains and water, making it perfect for a relaxing vacation. The room comfort was excellent. Overall, it was great value for money, and I will definitely choose this place again for my next Taihu vacation!

The hotel boasts a great location, nestled against a mountain and by a lake. It's a large property, and our room required a shuttle service to get to and from the lobby. The room design was very Japanese, but the long entryway felt like a bit of a wasted space, and the lighting was a bit dim. It was an interesting experience, but perhaps just for a one-time stay.

The hotel service was excellent, and our room was spacious and clean. Since we were traveling with a child, we booked a family room, and the hotel was very responsive to our needs. There's also a scenic hiking trail from the hotel that leads up to Yuyang Mountain.

Service was really bad and the view wasn’t that nice won’t recommend to go next time

Suzhou Taimei Yijun is absolutely perfect for a vacation! The hotel grounds are massive, filled with lush greenery, creating a fantastic ambiance. There's an undeveloped, natural hill within the property where you can enjoy a leisurely hike and breathe in the fresh air 🌿. There's a shuttle bus that goes directly to the lake-view rooms, but our mountain-view room was super convenient as we didn't need to take it. Honestly, I think the mountain-view rooms have a better interior design quality than the lake-view ones. The room was incredibly spacious and even came with a private hot spring tub, making our stay a perfect 100! The service was attentive and thoughtful. The lobby even offered free DIY bracelet making, which the kids absolutely loved and happily made several. The constant-temperature pool had clean water and a comfortable temperature, with lifeguards on duty the whole time. For a family vacation or just to relax and unwind, this place is a definite winner ✨.

Facilities: A bit old and not very well-maintained. The bedroom was clean, but the living room felt a bit dated. Cleanliness: Reasonably clean. Ambiance: The environment was very nice, full of greenery. Service: The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and provided excellent service. The Western restaurant staff also had a good attitude, but it felt like outside of peak meal times, they were mostly interns, and their professionalism wasn't quite up to par.

The hotel is built into the mountain, offering a great environment. However, you need to take an elevator to get from your room to the garage and restaurant. The outdoor pool was nice, and the staff were quite enthusiastic. The main issue was breakfast: fried eggs weren't displayed for self-service; you had to ask for them. Also, the hot noodle station was unattended during regular breakfast hours, and you had to call a server to get someone there. This was certainly an eye-opening experience.
