No.5 Art Hotel

The hygiene was poor, and the room was very old, with the floor showing years of wear. The bathroom door lock was broken. The front desk could store luggage, and the only upside was its proximity to the scenic area.

The room was clean and tidy, very close to the scenic area, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby.

There were hairs on the duvet, and mold stains in every corner. You could smell the stinky public restroom from the end of the hallway right outside our room door. The only upside is that it's super, super, super close to Suzhou Museum and Humble Administrator's Garden, just across the street. If you wake up early, you can be among the first to enter. I honestly can't even comment on the cleanliness; just look at the photos and decide for yourself. I stayed at a 4-star hotel by West Lake in Hangzhou the night before for less than this price.

I chose a king room for myself, and it was spacious enough. The metro station, shown in picture 1, is right next door – super close! The hotel is also located next to the Suzhou Museum, so if you want to explore the area, you can rent an electric scooter (pictured in image 2). All the staff were lovely. Step outside and there are tons of delicious food options, it smells incredible!

The hotel is very close to the attractions; you can walk to the museum, Humble Administrator's Garden, Pingjiang Road, and so on. However, the hygiene is very poor. There were mosquitoes in the room and bathroom. The bathroom also had standing water and leaks.

The hotel is conveniently located near attractions, very clean, and the service is incredibly friendly. The staff is always happy to answer any questions. It offers great value for money, highly recommended! I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

Traveling with kids was a breeze! The hotel is conveniently located right next to Metro Line 6, just a 50-meter walk away. Suzhou Museum and Humble Administrator's Garden are directly across the street, an easy walk. There are tons of food options nearby; a supermarket to the right and Lanzhou Lamian to the left, so you'll always find something to eat, even late at night. There's so much food within walking distance, you'll be spoiled for choice. For places a bit further (usually no more than 4km, otherwise a taxi is best), shared bikes are readily available right across the street. We had a really pleasant trip!
