Mercure Suzhou Shilu Shantang Street Hotel

I booked a room with a view, and the cleanliness and soundproofing were great! The breakfast was rich and varied, and the robot delivery service was very prompt. Downstairs is Shilu Pedestrian Street, and it's just a short walk to Qilishan Tang. If you want to explore more modern areas, Huamao Center is also very close in the other direction. There are tons of restaurants of all sizes downstairs. The best part was the Thai massage right at the entrance, which really helped relieve my travel fatigue! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Suzhou! Our family trip was very satisfying!

I stayed here once in 2024, and this is a repeat visit. The check-in experience was excellent. It's very close to Qilishantang and there are many malls nearby, so you can shop to your heart's content.

They have latex pillows, and the windows can be opened outwards. The AC also has a heating function. The soundproofing is actually pretty decent because of the solid parts of the walls. My neighbors were really noisy, but after communicating with the front desk twice, it quieted down. The front desk also provides free earplugs. Nearby, there's MixC World, Rainbow Shopping Mall, and a pedestrian street. Ordering takeout is also very convenient, and a robot can deliver it. It's also quite close to major attractions. The TV supports screen mirroring. The lobby is on the 20th floor. The building is shared with other hotels, so sometimes you have to wait a while for the elevator.

Room service delivery is very convenient; the robot is fast, but it tends to stand in the middle of the elevator, making it hard for people to get in. It's about 300 meters from Shantang Street, which is very convenient for walking. The only downside is that parking is not convenient.

This Moxy Shantang Street feels like my future home! This review comes straight from the heart! **Scent**: I love the fresh and subtle fragrance. The central air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems are quiet and unobtrusive; I barely notice when the intermittent ventilation kicks in. The black tea, green tea, and coffee are all excellent. The hotel's bottled water is from Bama, Guangxi, known as the 'hometown of longevity' and for its geomagnetism – supposedly good for health and long life. 😂✌️ **Decor Style**: It's my favorite simple and cozy aesthetic, with white, pink, bronze, and purple silk hangers, exuding a pure, classic, girlish charm. I seriously want to replicate this style in my own home! 😂😆 **Bathroom**: I've warmly fallen in love with sitting on the hotel toilet, instead of rushing to sanitize and lay down a cover. The automatic flush means no need to fuss with levers. 😆👍 **Night Lights**: The bathroom night light is warm and not harsh, perfect for light sleepers like me, and ensures my 90-year-old father won't get lost when he gets up at night. Have you ever seen a night light *inside* the toilet bowl?! 😆👍 **Adding to my review for their Two-Bedroom Suite**: This suite perfectly solved my need to care for both my elderly parent and other family members. Two bathrooms! No fighting over facilities! It's exquisite yet private, with stunning high-rise views! Simply perfect! 😆👍 **Location**: Just a crosswalk away from Vientiane World, right by Exit 12 of Shilu Station on Metro Line 2. It's incredibly close to all the major attractions in Shantang! There's always something for everyone! It doesn't feel tiring to fly in for a weekend stay! 😆😎

This trip was fantastic! The transportation was incredibly convenient, making it super easy to get to attractions and go shopping. The hotel breakfast was also excellent, with fresh ingredients and a wide variety of options – a perfect start to an energetic day!
