Location is great, only a few steps away from the Subway station. Room has view and is clean and spacious. The washer and dryer are operated by an app. The dryer may need some maintenance as clothes are still damp after 50 high heat drying.

This is a very clean hostel with excellent location. If you are travelling to Suzhou and looking for cheap accommodation then please stay here. You will never regret my recommendation. I had stayed in this brand hostel in quite many places and they always live up to expectations. Trust me I had stayed in some very bad hostel.

So far I stayed at two Desti locations. And I gotta say, this is literally the best hostel experience I have had in any of the countries I have visited so far, no exaggeration. Clean, spacious, beds are full 2 meters in length and offer proper comfort, you get slippers, towels, shampoo, there is a huge common room with activity options and occasional live music, and the experience really is social (if you want it to be) -- there are excellent opportunities to meet people to spend your holiday with. Thanks for the wonderful experiences I could make here :)

Really nice hostel. Best towels in all China. Yan speaks perfect English and she was absolutely the best. Always available and smiling. Everything worked perfectly. Location is top. Could be better identify outside and in the building for foreigners. Cleaning is ok but can be improved. I can reccomend this hostel in Suzhou

Nice hostel for a quick visit of Suzhou. It seemed quite social and the hostel offered activities in the lobby. Since it was a little hard to find at the beginning: the hostel is located on floor 11 of the Mercure Hotel building in the pedestrian street.
Room was clean, bathrooms mostly too. I’d stay here again.

THE AMENITIES OF THE HOSTEL IS REALLY GOOD BUT HOPEFULLY THE STAFFS WILL INITIATE MORE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN FOREIGN FRIENDS AND CHINESE FRIENDS. We are shy to interact we would really like to. Anyways! Very good stay!
