I saw this highly-rated hotel on Ctrip and was immediately drawn to it, so I spontaneously booked a trip. The 'garden-style hotel with very cute mynahs' left the deepest impression on me. When I got to the room and saw the walkway by the pond, I remembered coming here years ago with a friend, and I had a good impression even then. My family was very satisfied this time too! 👍 The environment, service, and breakfast were all great! 👍 This time, I even got to sit in the hotel, quietly drink tea, and listen to Pingtan opera, which was very relaxing. I'll definitely be back often!

Secondly, it boasts a classical Suzhou garden design with an elegant scholarly ambiance. What's more, it offers a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, with spacious and clean rooms, complete facilities, and thoughtful service. If you're planning a trip to Shantang Street, Shilu, Guanqian Street, and Tiger Hill, and your budget is relatively flexible, choosing Shantang Mansion is the way to go. The hotel's Chinese-style buffet breakfast isn't extravagant, but it's perfectly fine. On a side note, Shantang Street's night market is packed with tourists, and almost all the popular restaurants nearby have long queues. If you prefer to avoid the crowds, I recommend heading back to Shantang Mansion and trying its in-house 'Suweiguang' restaurant; you're sure to have a satisfying experience there.
