My second stay in this hotel in a Standard Double Room. Difference from my previous booking of a Superior Room is that there were no slippers and no coffee machine. Go for the Superior Room for better in-room amenities. Nonetheless, the service, location, breakfast were excellent. We saw the Northern Lights from the harbour just a couple of minutes of walking from the hotel.

Hotel location is very good, right next to the docking harbour for cruises and there are a few car rental companies nearby. However, we arrived on a very busy day and they only had limited parking spots on a first come first served basis, so we had to park quite far away. The hotel lobby looked really grand, with coffee machines free for guests to use. Check in was quick and efficient. We quickly checked out the gym on 2nd floor, we didn't get to utilise it but the gym was very well equipped with Technogym equipment and even a squat rack! The room itself was clean and spacious, it was cloudy and rainy otherwise the view overlooking the docking port would have been fantastic. Buffet breakfast was another highlight, with lots of options and allergies / ingredients clearly labelled. Definitely try out their wide range of local cheeses, absolutely yummy!

Thon hotel Svolvær is way newer and better than the thon hotel lofoten in term of the room, breakfast.

Easy check in. Front desk staff were helpful and welcoming. Breakfast spread was good with many choices.

Very nice, clean and tidy, breakfast is buffet, rich and delicious, sea view room, the hotel is next to the pier, 10 minutes walk from the bus stop, convenient transportation, there is a delicious restaurant around.

Very satisfied, comfortable stay, beautiful scenery. The beauty of Lofoten in winter has three elements: snow❄️, sunshine, and aurora. The hotel service is very good, and the scenery is outside the window of the superior room. Very close to the pier and information center, breakfast is very good! The next day I saw the aurora again. Don't sign up for the light chasing group, it's an IQ tax. You can watch the sky at will from 18:00 to 20:00 in the evening. As long as there are stars, it has little to do with the kp parameters

1. The hotel is in a great location. 2. The breakfast is rich, with porridge to satisfy the Chinese stomach. 3. The room is large, with new towels every day (uncommon in Europe). 4. There is unlimited coffee and tea at the front desk on the first floor.

1. The location is very convenient. It costs 300 Norwegian kroner to take a taxi from the airport. There is a free area for self-driving. It is next to the cruise terminal. 2. The room is relatively large, clean and hygienic, especially the breakfast is very rich! Recommended! 3. There are supermarkets and shopping malls around. We were very lucky to see the northern lights on the night we arrived!

The hotel was right at the door when we got off the boat. The transportation was very convenient. We had dinner at the hotel. The fish and beef were Norwegian specialties. The taste was as shown in the picture. It varies from person to person. Please understand it yourself.
