I had a wonderful time staying at the lodge for business. Although so close to town. It felt like idyllic and remote looking out onto the beautiful Swellendam mountains. I particularly enjoyed the massive bath tub. Wifi signal was excellent for work. Staff were so friendly& helpful. The bed was big & comfy.

We stayed at Gaiko for 1 night and it sadly happened to fall during the really bad storms that happened. Power was out all over town and it was causing chaos all over town. But the staff at Gaiko were handling the crisis like a dream. Very friendly staff. Room was stunning as always and the bed was super comfortable. Will definitely be back again!

Fantastic weekend with stunning venue, great service and awesome food, would recommend to any small group, we were 24 people and we could have the place to ourselves. The food was really good and plentiful and Janeska did a sterling job to manage all the requirements. The rooms are beautifully decorated and just what we needed, some privacy but also a place to get together around the pool.

Although the online pictures show this to be a nice place, it by no means serves it justice. the lodge is well kept, friendly staff and the surrounding mountains are just amazing, Next time we will plan to stayed longer :)
