GGuest UserThe Asian man being the counter at check in was not friendly at all. He also took a long time to check everyone in. There was a long line and only he was working. We were tired and when we went upstairs to our room, the key didn’t work. We had to go back downstairs and wait again, only for the man to tell us he gave us the wrong room number.
On our last day, the fire alarm went off at 1am while we were sleeping. We called downstairs and no one answered. We evacuated the room only to find out it was a false alarm. There was no announcement. Just one person behind the desk telling people who asked him. The fire department shut down the elevators so we had to wait to go back to our rooms. We got very little sleep after that.

GGuest UserA lovely hotel and nice to rooms, I did feel a bit let down though with some of their functions on at the time.
A very noisy pool party and cocktail function which clearly was to accommodate a certain age range.
It would of been nice to be aware of such functions before we actually turned up. I could see that most of the people staying at the hotel were of my similar age and weren't overly comfortable either with noisy, loud individuals dotted all over.
This was especially concerning since guests have to sign a waiver to abide by noise rules etc....but it appeared none of these were followed for people associated with the event.
Shame really as the hotel itself and location was great.
Appreciation for all guests seemed a bit lacking.
AAnastasiia P.Excellent location: quiet area, close to several metro stations, supermarket
Contactless check-in and check-out
Absolutely everything is provided in the apar**ents
The only negative is that adjusting the water pressure in the shower is difficult

GGuest UserSuper hotel, perfect location. sky bar and swimming pool are super relaxing.
Hairdresser, starbox and shops nearby.
Staff is super good, help you where necessary.
Large rooms had a wonderful time with the family. Metro also very close to this hotel. Highly recommended.
SSyLYoLaNdAIt was good to stay again. Parking was convenient and the car was picked up in time. Basically, the hotel can meet all the conditions. I will stay here again next time. It is very convenient to stay here if you come to Flushing.

GGuest UserMy son and I had the most incredible experience! I would recommend the William Vale to all my friends and family. The balcony views at sunset in the summer are absolutely stunning. The hotel itself offers many thoughtful amenities including a welcome message with your name on the television upon arrival. I honestly only have one small complaint and that was the cleaning service. We called about having the room cleaned and actually spoke with the individual who said she would come back at the time we requested but she never returned. Other than that one little hiccup everything went smoothly from the time we pulled up to valet to unload our luggage. There is NO better hotel to stay in Williamsburg aside from the William Vale.
JJc_travels4 nights stay at Sixty LES, in an ADA King room.
The hotel is clean, easily accessible within walking distance from public transportation. The location is good, closed to many restaurants and famous institutions like Katz. The room is big, clean with bed comfortable and good shower place. Amenities includes an in room safe, ironing board and iron, coffee maker and mini fridge.
The front desk, and the staff in general are quite helpful and very professional and polite.
The only drawback is that the room can be a bit dark at night and also the noise from the bar on 7th floor can be particularly loud until late in the morning (3am)
GGuest UserThe best part about this hotel is the location. It is right off the subway and very close to Central Park, Columbus circle, and Lincoln center. There is a fitness center in the basement but it is very small and stuffy and hot. The pool was not open during our stay which is too bad but that's not their fault. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
The worst part of this hotel is the rooms. Our window faced some vent and we had no light. The bathroom was bleak and the ceilings and the doors were old and dirty.
The bed was comfortable.
LLucastatI recently stayed at the West Side YMCA and found it to be a great budget-friendly option in a convenient location. The rooms were clean and simple, with basic amenities that suited my needs for a short stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the communal areas were well-maintained. It’s perfect if you’re looking for affordable accommodation in the city without luxury extras. I would definitely recommend it for travellers on a budget or those who prioritise location over high-end comfort.
