"Had a really great experience here! The owner was super nice and even added me on WeChat before I arrived to send over the hotel's location and parking info. After check-in, they also shared local travel tips and recommendations for bubble tea places. The hotel's location is fantastic; Taiping Old Street is right downstairs, Pozi Street is close by, and it's super easy to get to Wenheyou. Taxis are also readily available. I originally booked for one night but ended up extending for another day. I was really satisfied with my stay and would definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town! 😀"

"My friends and I had an absolutely fantastic stay! Our family four-bedroom apartment was incredibly spacious, featuring three 1.8-meter beds and one 1.5-meter bed. It even had a mahjong table! The small balcony offered great views of Changsha's city streets. The location is unbeatable: major attractions like Pozi Street, Temple Street, Pedestrian Street, Taiping Old Street, and Wuyi Square are all just a few minutes' walk away, right downstairs from the hotel. Daily housekeeping was provided, with an attendant cleaning and restocking toiletries every day. Plus, there's a breakfast spot downstairs serving the famously delicious Gongjiao Xincun rice noodles. The subway station is only an 8-9 minute walk away, and popular spots like Chayan Yuese and Wenheyou are also incredibly close, making sightseeing and shopping super convenient! Changsha Yiman Hotel will definitely be our top choice for our next visit to Changsha!"

GGuest UserA truly delightful and surprising stay! While not in the city center, the hotel is very close to the airport, making it an ideal first stop for a trip to Changsha.
A day before our arrival, the Guest Relations Manager called to inquire about our room preferences, provided detailed directions to the hotel, and even shared discount taxi vouchers. Their service was incredibly warm and welcoming. During check-in, the lovely lady at the front desk thoughtfully arranged a top-floor room for us, offering fantastic views from the two floor-to-ceiling windows.
The hotel prioritizes guest privacy, requiring a room key card to access the upper floors. The stairwells were also very clean and tidy, and with plenty of elevators, we hardly ever had to wait.
We were pleasantly surprised the moment we opened the door. Although I had only casually mentioned it was my birthday the next day, I never expected the housekeeping staff to have prepared such a thoughtful setup, especially that little elephant – absolutely adorable! This was followed by an incredibly thoughtful birthday card and dessert from the Guest Relations Manager. It truly added a special touch to the celebration. Life really does need these little surprises. We are so thankful!
The overall experience was fantastic, a definite five-star recommendation!

PPaowoahLocation: It shares the same front space as another hotel, just keep walking to your right to reach this one. The pro here is that it's close to Wuyi Square which is around 10-15 minutes away. There are some restaurants and fruit shops nearby too. It's also pretty close to one of the railway stations, a bit far from the airport though. The bad thing is that it's kind of located on a busy street, so around certain times, there's traffic.
Cleanliness: Overall, everything was pretty clean.
Service: The front desk girl is really friendly and if you ever need anything, can either WeChat her or call the front desk. She even gifted us with goodies when we left.
Facilities: Slept well, bed was soft and comfortable. Everything was pretty good, the only thing I would complain about is probably how high the heater is. I was sweating.
Overall, enjoyed my stay here, and would return. I enjoyed having my separate room and having the option for a fridge and microwave just in case. There's free water, snacks, and fruits upon check-in. U.S. passport friendly.

Arrival and Room: The concierge was proactive and enthusiastic, and the front desk was efficient and professional. My room offered expansive views of the lake and the city skyline, and the turndown service was meticulous and thoughtful.
Special Activity Experience: The biggest surprise was participating in the hotel's ”Destination Discovery” activity. During the ”Limited Flavor Tasting,” I sampled three creative special cocktails infused with Changsha local snacks, and the local flavors on my tongue were astonishing. Afterwards, I strolled to the Meixi Lake International Culture and Arts Centre, where I immersed myself in the interplay of architecture and light under the streamlined dome, which was truly captivating.
Dining and Service: The breakfast selection was rich and varied, and the service was prompt and responsive. The staff were consistently polite and attentive, demonstrating meticulous care in every detail, from addressing in-room requests to arranging check-out.
Overall Impression: The hotel not only offers an outstanding accommodation experience but also, through its thoughtfully designed activities, allows guests to deeply engage with the local culture during their stay. It was a complete and layered luxury journey.

PPangxiaozhuyaojianfeiThe night before, I booked the Hilton Changsha Shimao through the Hilton platform, and the experience was utterly terrible. The soundproofing was awful. I was woken up at 3 AM by noise from the hallway and didn't sleep a wink all night, ending up with a pounding headache.
First thing in the morning, I rebooked at the InterContinental via Trip.com. Miss Anna Jiang at the front desk was incredibly professional, friendly, and genuinely warm. I was so touched! She walked me to the elevator, introduced me to the hotel facilities and restaurants. She even pre-warned me that the river view rooms are near the elevators and to let them know if I experienced any noise so I could switch rooms. The concierge staff were also very proactive and helpful; I really appreciate their assistance.
Although the hotel's hardware facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained and clean. The room view was lovely, overlooking the delta where the Liuyang River and Xiang River converge. There's a direct passage to the adjacent shopping malls (Beichenhui/Joy City), making dining and shopping very convenient.
Breakfast here has the best Western pastries among all the international brand hotels I've stayed at in the past few months. It really suited my preferences, and the coffee was made with an espresso machine. There were also plenty of Chinese options, including rice noodles, but the texture wasn't quite to my liking; they were a bit too thick.
Before checking out, I realized I'd left a ring in the room. I called, and they informed me it had already been found and sent to the concierge. It was perfect timing as I was just returning from visiting the Changsha Museum and picked it up on my way back. Oh, and right across from the hotel are the 'Three Museums and One Hall,' which are within walking distance.
For food deliveries, you have to pick them up from external lockers, which is understandable and acceptable to me.

AATOM-IIBecause of the heavy snow on the 22nd, we reserved the whole place on the 21st. It was really amazing. Every scene was amazing, mainly because the dogs were so well-behaved. Plus it was snowing, it was so atmospheric. If you come here in the summer, you can call a few friends or have a company meeting. Anyway, we will come again next time. Knowing it was my birthday, she specially decorated the place and sent champagne 🍾️. She was very enthusiastic. The auntie who cooked was also very nice. She heated up the food for us the next day for fear of waste. It was a warm and cozy stay!

Overall, the staff at Kempinski Changsha were very friendly and helpful. However, Dora's service stood out in a special way. Her friendliness, initiative, and warm smile made a lasting impression on us. She consistently paid attention to our needs and requests, always striving to ensure our comfort. Dora went above and beyond to fulfill what we needed during our stay.
When we were in the executive lounge, Dora also took the initiative to make me a cocktail, but I wanted a mocktail, and she said that she could arrange it for me, and the taste of Dora's mocktail was very delicious, one named it Sweet Strawberry and the other one is Orange!
When we stay at hotels, we usually spend little time in the executive lounge and prefer relaxing in our room. However, thanks to Dora's exceptional service, we felt completely comfortable and ended up staying in the executive lounge for a longer time!
Every 5-star hotel offers a distinct room atmosphere, but the quality of service from the staff, like Dora, ultimately influences our decision to return to this hotel.
As for now, we don’t know when we will go back to Changsha City, but the next time we go back to Changsha, we will definitely choose to stay at Kempinski Changsha again!

🔴 Convenient Location: The hotel is very close to Orange Isle, Hunan University, Yuelu Mountain, Yuelu Academy, Aiwanting Pavilion, Wuyi Square commercial area (IFS, Huangxing Pedestrian Street, Guojin Street, Wangfujing Department Store), Nanmenkou, Tianxin Pavilion, Du Fu Jiang Ge, Wenheyou, Taiping Old Street, and Chaozong Street. You can walk in a loop and reach the hotel after visiting all the attractions in Changsha!
🔴 This time, I stayed on the executive floor. In addition to basic room services like cleaning, tidying, turndown service, and replenishment of toiletries that other hotels offer, every staff member greeted me politely, which was very heartwarming!
🔴 🤩 What impressed, surprised, and moved me the most was: every time we returned to our room after going out, the cleaning lady on our floor would always neatly fold our clothes and coil our phone charging cables to their original Apple factory settings. Our shoes, towels, and even our own toothbrushes, toothpaste, and soap were all neatly arranged or hung in the wardrobe. It was like a “family member” tidying up their “home” 🤩‼️
🔴 Breakfast: The secret recipe [Special Soy Milk Egg Tofu Soup] is delicious and a must-have every day!

What I was most satisfied with was the booking, which included tickets for 2 adults and 1 child to the Ocean World, Happy Snow World, and the Dawangshan International Circus. Since it was my first time visiting Dawangshan, upon arrival at the hotel, I immediately felt the five-star service, like help with luggage. After checking in, the front desk staff even proactively upgraded us to a suite and then gave us tickets for 2 adults and 1 child to the Dawangshan Starlight Carnival – totally unexpected! The moment I opened the hotel room door, I genuinely felt like I was coming home; it was incredibly luxurious, beyond words. I’ll just upload the photos, haha 😄
