WWangwangxiaolibaobaoThis hotel truly lives up to its recommendations! Even on a weekday during the off-season, there were quite a few people. The hotel environment is simply exceptional, and what's more, the dining is impressive – both the afternoon tea and breakfast exceeded expectations! The lobby doubles as a cafe and restaurant, offering views of the pool and Yulong River, plus the mountain scenery. Why bother going to another cafe when everything you need is right here at the hotel? We arrived directly at the hotel entrance via a bamboo raft from the Yulong River scenic area. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, including one with an incredibly delicious beer fish. The room was absolutely fantastic, with two large floor-to-ceiling windows facing the mountain and pool, offering a superb view. You can step right out to the pool for a swim, making it very relaxing. Although the weather wasn't great, the misty, cloudy day actually added a unique charm. The toiletries were Acqua di Parma, and the scent was lovely, which shows the hotel's thoughtfulness. Hot water was instant, no waiting needed. Definitely a hotel worth revisiting!

GGuest UserThe landscapes of Yangshuo are beautiful, the scenery of Zhudou Village is beautiful, the environment of Huaxin is beautiful, and the smiles of the guesthouse staff are beautiful. The young lady was polite, enthusiastic, and spoke with a gentle voice. The room facilities were complete, high-quality, and comfortable. Breakfast offered both Chinese and Western options and was nutritious. Every day, there were candies, drinks, and high-quality bottled water available. In the mornings, the birdsong was clear and pleasant. We even received a souvenir upon check-out. Huaxin truly is excellent.

GGuest User🌟 Honeymoon Getaway | A Healing Retreat Nestled Amidst Mountains and Rivers Having visited Guangxi several times, it wasn't until this honeymoon trip that I truly found my 'poetry and distant lands'! The hotel boasts an elegant private courtyard. Stepping through the door, you're greeted by vibrant greenery. Sitting in the courtyard, brewing tea and chatting, time truly slows down, filled with a heartwarming sense of being at home. The restaurant on the sixth floor is the highlight, offering a 270-degree panoramic view of the karst peaks. After the meal, stepping onto the balcony reveals mountains adorned with golden rapeseed fields contrasting with the dark peaks – admiring the flowers and mountains, it's utterly delightful and refreshing. The service was incredibly attentive. From the moment we entered the hotel, we were enveloped in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Every detail showed thoughtfulness, making us first-timers feel so welcome. Although not far from the attractions, it's a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle. We were surrounded by the sounds of insects and birds all day. Strolling through the countryside, every step offered a breathtaking view perfect for stunning photos. The green mountains are like painted brows, and the yellow flowers like a sea – it's beautifully dreamlike. This trip was free from the fatigue of constant travel, offering only leisurely comfort. It's the ultimate Guangxi vacation in my opinion, highly recommended for anyone seeking a slow pace of life or a romantic honeymoon! ✨

FFNg1222Beautiful hotel, we saw all of LongJi and still felt our hotel area was the most beautiful. Short walk to scenic spots (if the balcony and front of hotel is not enough!). The hotel is located close to the last driveable part of the terraces (hotels further on need to park and walk). The technology provided in the room was comprehensive and easy to use - we enjoyed the selection of movies. Breakfast was basic but still appreciated.

HHaoyunlailyyThis hotel in Yangshuo was such a pleasant surprise! You get amazing mountain views right from your room. The rooftop 'Sky Mirror' offers stunning panoramic views of the winding Li River – it's like a built-in filter for your photos, every shot looks professional! The hotel's location is excellent, right next to West Street, making it super convenient for exploring and dining. Plus, there's free parking, which is a huge bonus if you're driving. They offer a complimentary buffet breakfast, and the rooms are spacious. I loved relaxing on the balcony sofa during the day, just unwinding and enjoying the mountain scenery, and then watching the sunset in the evening – it felt like time just slowed down. The room I booked even had a soaking tub, and bathing while looking at the mountains was incredibly relaxing! For anyone looking to escape the city for a bit, a weekend here is truly rejuvenating!

GGuest UserOur stay at TUI Blue Xiangheli Hotel in Yangshuo was truly exceptional. First of all, I would like to highlight the impeccable service. The entire team is incredibly kind, sincere, and polite — something that genuinely sets this hotel apart from large chain properties. There is a level of warmth and personal care here that is rare to find. Upon arrival, we were kindly upgraded to a room with an even more stunning view, which made our experience even more special. The room itself was beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with breathtaking scenery all around. What impressed me the most was how helpful and attentive the staff were throughout our stay. They assisted us with booking tickets for various activities and even helped with personal matters, such as handling orders from Chinese online marketplaces. Their willingness to go above and beyond made a huge difference. The hotel facilities are also excellent. I especially loved the complimentary experiences offered, such as the photo session and cultural activities — these added a unique and memorable touch to our stay. The location is another big advantage: peaceful and tranquil, yet still conveniently close to major attractions like Ruyi Park. Despite being nearby, the hotel remains quiet and relaxing. Overall, this is honestly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yangshuo, and I will definitely be coming back again.

LLost_in_the_JungleWe were seeking a peaceful getaway from the city for a few days in the mountains of Yangshuo, and this place really lived up to its name! The view from our balcony was spectacular, no photo can really capture how the lush green mountains rise up all around you! Our room was so clean and open and spacious, with lots of drawers and cabinets and places to hang your things. The bed linens were silky soft and comfortable, and the towels are nice, too. Our room was really so comfortable, that when it was raining we just lazed about in our room, napping on the daybed, watching movies on the big TV, or reading in the bath. Speaking of the bath, honestly the most epic view from a tub that I have ever experienced! When it was too hot and humid in the day, we lounged in the crystal blue pool- what a treat to swim in the cool water with the mountains all around you! When we felt like exploring beyond the village, we were able to rent e-bikes right there for a great price, it was so convenient. They have a buffet Chinese breakfast in the morning, and the Guilin rice noodle was delish and so authentic. We also loved the homemade soymilk, it was so good, even my husband who doesn't really like soymilk kept drinking it! We enjoyed the modern zen feel of the hotel, its very calming with water features, and little garden features everywhere. Most of all, the location of the hotel is really special, you are in the back of an old traditional village, making it sooooo quiet, so peaceful. No noisy tourists to be seen anywhere!!! The staff was friendly and chill and helpful. But, when we wanted to go out for a treat, we would just walk a few steps into the center of the village where there are some really lovely coffee shops in ancient garden courtyards, and we would eat at one of our favorite restaurants, the Secret Garden Cafe, which has yummy Chinese and Western food. We can't wait to come back and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a restful escape from the hustle and bustle.

Very Good
GGuest UserFirstly, on our check-in, we were told we can upgrade to a Riverview room at a cost of around 100 RMB. after we agreed to upgrade and got up to our room. (Please see picture below)that was the river room. Nothing like a river view room that we have ever experienced.   When we called the manager to ask for the river room, we got upgraded to a higher floor( see the picture attached)  again not a river view room that we would ever called it.  Dinner.  We book our dinner in the Chinese restaurant Xianggong (香宫) not to mention their service was extremely slow. We waited for our noodle until the last course to be served like a hour. Please see the picture attach. This is the picture on the menu that  I was expecting please see picture attached that is the noodle that got served to me. a although I understand in some situation, the picture is just for reference, but I think at this case this is extremely misrepresented.  Another dish we orders “ wagyu beef with mushrooms. “ again we questioned this is hardly wagyu beef and please see the picture below. That’s the dish we got served, nothing like the picture again.  It was deeply disappointing experience, and we booked based on the Shangri -La name and our previous experiences.   Although  Shangri Guilin has his beautiful landscape and infrastructure, the service is clearly not a Shanghai standard.

GGuest UserVery friendly staff. They were extremely helpful advising what to see and do. On arrival we checked into a very large room but unfortunately it was on the ground floor with no privacy. The inn responded promptly to our concern and switched us to the 2nd floor in the main building. We were very grateful for that arrangement.

WWeishenmeyaoweinanxiaomaoneOverall, I'd say my experience was pretty average for a four-star hotel. Aside from the service, which was genuinely good, even excellent, there's not much else to praise, and some aspects were actually quite poor. My biggest frustration was the power outage on my first night – it happened twice! Once around 9:30 PM and again around 12:30 AM. I had just finished showering and was about to blow-dry my hair when the power suddenly went out. I had to use my phone light to find my way to dry off. What if an elderly person or a child was in that situation? The first time it happened, I called the front desk, and the power was restored quickly, but I was really angry that it happened a second time. Secondly, there's the showerhead. Even putting aside the somewhat outdated facilities (though this was an upgraded room, as the original one I booked had even older facilities – the hotel did a good job of letting me choose a better room, which was appreciated). The water temperature for showering wasn't great. Not only did cold water come out for a short while even when turned to the hottest setting, but the water itself wasn't very hot, and the water pressure was very low. It was tolerable for showering, but certainly not comfortable. Also, despite having two showerheads, the switch to alternate between them seemed broken, as both would dispense water no matter how I adjusted it. This wasn't a huge issue, but it was annoying to look at. Thirdly, the central air conditioning was clearly very old and hadn't been updated. It was dirty, covered in dust, and the airflow was terrible – there was absolutely no warm air. I didn't test the cold air. Although I reported it, the front desk did bring up a portable heater for me. The cleanliness was okay; no noticeable dust or trash. The service, as I mentioned, was genuinely good. I had breakfast one day, and it was decent enough – not too many choices, but not too few either. However, the issues with the facilities really impacted my overall experience.
