JennyzouWe brought our child to Wuxi again this time, and to our surprise, the Holiday Inn was fantastic! It's conveniently located near the train station, the room was great, and everything was clean and tidy. A special shout-out to the front desk staff – they helped us a lot, even providing free breakfast for our child. Their service attitude was excellent, and all their services were spot on. Thank you!

Guest UserThe hotel is huge and impressive, with many young and enthusiastic staff. The room is spacious and excellent in every aspect! There are plenty of shuttle buses, and many tickets were provided, which made the kids incredibly happy! I must highly praise the hotel's outdoor swimming pool! We visited on a weekend in early September, and backstroking while looking at the blue sky and white clouds was simply amazing! The water temperature was perfect, not too cold nor too hot, and the kids absolutely loved it! You can also use the pool for free even after checking out! The weather was a bit hot during our two-day stay, but the clouds were incredibly beautiful and stunning!

ElitayilitangI've stayed in many five-star hotels, but my recent stay at the Taihu Hotel still left me amazed. We booked a scenic triple room, and the first impression upon entering was how incredibly spacious it was. The room wasn't ostentatiously luxurious; instead, it exuded a calm, unhurried 'old money' elegance, as if time hadn't left its mark but had refined into a unique charm. I particularly loved the bathroom; bathing and showering were incredibly comfortable. The fatigue of travel slowly dissipated in the warm steam, and looking out at the trees and mountains, I suddenly felt that this is what a true vacation means: letting time slow down.
The hotel's greenery coverage is reportedly 70%, and we even took a 10-minute sightseeing tour around the property. Along the way, lush trees, lakes, and buildings were intertwined. The wind gently brushed through the car window, creating a picturesque 'courtyard within courtyards' ambiance. Some reviews say Taihu Hotel is like a maze, but I found it to be a rather interesting experience. From the moment we stepped out of the car, a bellhop proactively helped us with our luggage and warmly guided us to the lobby. The entire process was natural and thoughtful. A good hotel, perhaps, isn't just about staying in a beautiful building, but about having someone take care of the trivialities of your journey from the moment you step through the door.
There's one more thing I must praise separately – the Taihu Hotel's xiaolongbao (soup dumplings). These were the best xiaolongbao I've ever had in Wuxi. The skin was so thin it felt like it would break, each one as delicate as a work of art. When gently picked up, it felt as if one wrong move would disturb the abundant soup inside. The taste was fresh, fragrant, and tender, unfolding in layers – truly a delightful surprise. Breakfast was also delicious, especially the douhua (tofu pudding), so silken smooth with not a hint of roughness. Sitting there in the morning, slowly savoring a warm bowl of douhua, gazing at the tree shadows outside, felt incredibly pleasant. As the saying goes, 'The shimmering light on the water is beautiful on a clear day, and the misty mountain view is extraordinary in the rain.' The morning light by Taihu Lake must be just as gentle.
Another point: if you're coming specifically for the fireworks show, staying at Taihu Hotel is really perfect. There's no need to rush for transportation after the show, nor to quickly leave amidst the crowds. The fireworks, the lake, the night, and this historic hotel intertwine, becoming an integral part of the journey. My only regret is that we booked too late. We originally wanted to stay at Taihu Hotel for the entire three-day Mid-Autumn Festival, but the rooms were already fully booked, so we could only stay for one night, which left us wanting more.
I've stayed in many five-star hotels. Some make you feel luxurious, some convenient, some offer excellent service, but Taihu Hotel gave me a different feeling – it has its own character. It has the lake, the trees, the history, the vibrant life, and an unhurried tranquility. As I left, I was already thinking about when I could return next. Perhaps truly unforgettable hotels are like this: you arrive as a guest, but leave with a landscape etched in your heart. Highly recommended.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom had a great wet-dry separation, felt very roomy, and the smart toilet was a really thoughtful touch. The 1.35m single bed was not only generously sized but also incredibly comfortable – for the first time ever, I didn't wake up with a sore back after staying in a hotel. Right in front of the hotel is a large lawn, and the surrounding area is a wetland park, offering an excellent ecological environment. At night, it was simply 'quiet.' The hotel hallways were also very wide, and the staff were all incredibly enthusiastic and helpful, always ready to answer any questions. The subway station is conveniently located near the hotel, making getting around super easy.
Bonus: There's a complimentary shuttle service to Jinkui Park for cherry blossom viewing if you book in advance! 🌸

Guest UserAn Unforgettable Luxury Stay at Wuxi Nianhuawan!
From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the elegance and tranquility of this hotel. The property is immaculately clean, and the attention to detail in every corner reflects true luxury.
A special thank you to Yu Canping, whose warm welcome and impeccable service made us feel like VIPs from the very first minute. Her hospitality truly set the tone for a perfect stay.
The buffet dinner and breakfast were superb—without a doubt the best we’ve ever had at any hotel. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
We also loved every moment of the night performance—it was magical! Strolling through the streets, browsing local crafts, and picking up unique gifts added so much charm to the experience. And the scenery? Absolutely breathtaking.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape with top-tier service. We can’t wait to return!

Guest UserThis hotel's designer must have a profound misunderstanding of human beings. Here are a few examples:
Exiting the elevator, I looked around for the room number signs, but couldn't find them. Then, I leaned closer and saw an exemplary 'energy-saving' notice... What would it hurt to install a light to help guests out?
The bathroom doesn't even have an outlet for a hairdryer! The design actually expects you to blow dry your hair in the bedroom!! Is this designer *******? If not, then won't hair inevitably fall onto the bed? I ended up blow-drying my hair in the kitchen.
Both bedside lamps can only be turned on and off together. Which couple always goes to bed and wakes up at the exact same time?
...It's truly beyond words, even three times the words wouldn't suffice. I can't even begin to express it all. On the other hand, the staff's service was excellent; that definitely deserves praise. Thank you!

Guest UserThis is my second time staying at the Lokas Hotel Wuxi. I first came when it just opened, and the room types are fantastic. The two-bedroom suite is spacious and comes with an induction hob, microwave, fridge, and a washing machine with a dryer, perfect for a longer stay. The location is great, not far from Nanchang Street and Nanchansi Temple. If it's too hot during the day, you can swim in the hotel's pool, which has good water quality and isn't crowded. Xiao Zhang (who seemed like a manager) handled my check-in with a great attitude. He also told me where breakfast was and the quicker way to get to the serviced apartments. When I checked out, he even gave me a lovely fridge magnet. Although the breakfast selection isn't huge, everything tastes delicious. I finally tried the famous fried fish noodles, and there's a small sesame ball that's also very tasty with lots of sesame filling. The juice isn't watered down either, and the waitstaff clear tables very efficiently. All the staff I encountered had excellent attitudes, and the cleaning ladies would greet you too. I'll definitely stay at Lokas again when I come to Wuxi!

Guest UserThis hotel was the best one we stayed at during our trip to Wuxi. It's one of Accor's better properties. The rooms are very spacious, and while some are conversions of old residences, the renovation is exceptionally new. During the May Day holiday, there was a buy-one-get-one-free offer for the buffet, and the food was incredibly exquisite. I even saw the F&B manager discussing the ideal temperature for the smoked fish with the chef, which showed great dedication. The marinated dishes were particularly authentic. Plus, the hotel is right in the ancient town, with several direct access points to the scenic area.

Guest UserI saw online that the hotel had a garden and a pool, but when I arrived, the pool wasn't open. I asked the front desk and they said it wouldn't open until July, which was a bit disappointing. The hotel lobby had a garden-like style, and there's a shuttle service, which is great for people without a car. The room was generally clean, and there was a free Hanfu experience. The small garden was perfect for photos, and it was very quiet at night. The breakfast was also good. When I checked out, the front desk even asked if I wanted a bottle of water for the road. Overall, the price was reasonable, and the service was good. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance.
