I have always been a big fan of Grand Hyatt, spent two nights in Grand Hyatt Fukuoka with my family in April 2024. Room assignment was good, met the expectation of our previous requests. Despite the hotel is not new, its timeless design and cleanliness made our stay very enjoyable. Room’s air conditioning was a bit weak but a dyson fan has already been placed inside our room so it was not an issue. Bathtub was unbelievably ergonomic and you can enjoy an amazing hot bath after a long day of shopping. The hotel offers parking at a price but it was reasonable. The hotel is right next to a big shopping mall (with tax return for visitors!) Clothings, sports goods, JUMP shop, gaming centre with lots of claw machines (you can actually win a lot of stuff there), pharmacy, convenient store, you name it.
We also had buffet breakfast in the hotel which was filled with a good variety of food and all of the tastes excellent!
Would definitely come again if we visit Fukuoka again in the future.

Good room service and helpful customer services. They helped to order Omakase for us for local Japanese restaurant. Welcome drink good quality. Spa good hygiene with supply of towels, no need to use room towels which earned high satisfaction. However, set breakfast rather than buffet breakfast which was beyond our expectations. 4 set breakfast not much choices during our 7 days stay in hotel. Food left behind most of time due to over size or food not fit the taste. Always food wasting occurred for customers. Will not choose this hotel again if still set breakfast. Anyway Miyako Hotel still earns high rating overall and will be suggested to our friends.

Firstly location is not convenient to hang around the city area.
But pros is so obvious and undeniable. It's quite far from famous spots but exceptionally cozy and quiet and hotel room is spacious enough comparing to another hotels.
You can take a stroll to Momochi beach on foot from hotel easily.
If you are good at walking, I don't think you can't go to subway station on foot. Yes, takes some time but you can feel relaxing on the way to station.
cons is one thing. Indoor swimming pool is not good for swimmer, it's 3 lanes only and always occupied by lessons or seniors who is just walking around in the water.
Just next to hotel is baseball stadium, if you are a big fan of baseball, you can't miss Japanese pro baseball game there.
It's unforgettable memory to kids and family, I m sure.

Great location, and had a connected passage to the underground walkway to the main Hakata station. Though to my surprise the hotel charges 3300yen for the gym access.
Hotel was also helpful to book an early taxi call for us for our super early checkout as our flight back was very early.
Otherwise, great stay and appreciate the connectivity of this location!
Dynamic Fukuoka on the island of Kyushu in southern Japan is a key flight hub in Asia with a youthful energy that befits its thriving startup scene. Situated in the heart of downtown in the main tower of the Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City complex, The Ritz-Carlton, Fukuoka is a sophisticated retreat with views across Hakata Bay, six dining venues that complement the city’s renown as a lively food capital, and playful references to the local textile art throughout its spaces. Conveniently accessed by air, land, or sea, our Fukuoka luxury hotel can be reached in less than fifteen minutes by car or public transport from Fukuoka Airport, the bullet train serviced by Hakata Station and Hakata Port.

I've been to Fukuoka multiple times and previously stayed at other establishments that simply cannot match the Ritz. Got a king room for my honeymoon. Really appreciate Sanjay and rest of staff making us feel very appreciated from check-in until departure. The level of attentiveness was impressive, and people here speak good English. Location is quite good, close to metro/bus stops, Ohori park, and plenty of eateries/shopping/yatai's. Room is as modern as you'd expect. Bed and bathroom are very comfortable - other hotels are going to struggle to match this level of sophistication. I really appreciated the amount of space vs the typical Japanese hotel. Great amount of amenities. Minor suggestions for improvement - in-room snacks - we got the impression that several of the snacks were complimentary. After we checked out, we discovered that they were not, an unpleasant surprise. Some better communication here would be valuable. Late check out - as an Elite member at check-in we were told that late check out would be offered. However, on the day of I discovered that I still had to call to ask for late check out, and then I had to wait a bit until they called back to confirm. The small details matter in delivering a flawless experience. Still, these are relatively minor things and overall we were very satisfied with our stay. On our next stay to lovely Fukuoka we'd definitely only stay here. Book it, you won't regret it.

As hotel prices have soared recently, I found a great plan for One Harmony members at a pinpoint. Along with national travel support, it was a price that has not been possible in recent years. The amenities are as substantial as before, with USB chargers and extension cords, and the complementary USB outlets that are commonplace in recent business hotels are also firmly available. Breakfast was a half buffet for a while, but this time the full buffet was revived and a sufficient number of items were prepared. Overall, I felt like I finally returned to front of Corona. Ritz Carlton will open in June, but the real pleasure of Ritz is the club lounge. I'm not saying that, but I would like you to make a club floor if you have the opportunity to renovate next time.

If you are on a business trip, it is a downtown area in the center of Fukuoka city! This hotel can occupy the gorgeous Fukuoka tower alone if you walk a little, and in the daytime walk, you can taste the lower town of Nishi Shin, but it is not like Fukuoka, but it is a fashionable Fukuoka that is not different from Fukuoka The local people are lamenting I have a very good impression.

The inside and outside of the building and the facilities themselves do not feel as clean as new. However, the cleanliness of the rooms inside is very good, and the structure and area are more convenient and spacious than other Japanese accommodations, so it is very good for 2-3 people to stay. In addition to the amenities in the accommodation, gargles, washcloths, etc. are provided free of charge without any quantity limit so that you can use as much as you need, and the swimming pool and sauna can also be used. It seems that the sauna can be used without a separate additional fee, and the internal facilities did not look bad (however, they said that you can use it after wearing a swimsuit, so if you need it, I recommend bringing a separate swimsuit). It is quite far from the busy Hakata/Tenjin area, but it takes about 15 minutes by taxi/28 minutes by JR, so if you have plenty of time, you can look around the Hakozaki area where the hotel is located and visit Hakata on another day. There is a local mart that locals use, 7-8 minutes walk from the accommodation. It has a lot of products like Donki, from alcohol to daily necessities, and groceries, and the prices are quite cheap, so it was great to buy souvenirs or food for gifts. Don Quijote Hakozaki is also located in a very large Q-mo, 2 minutes walk away, right across from the accommodation. If you walk about 10 minutes to the other side of the accommodation, there is a second-hand goods shop called Mangasoko, which is about 100 pyeong wide, so it is great for shopping. If you go into the alley behind or below the accommodation, there are many good value omakase sushi restaurants, bars, and cocktail shops, so it seems like a great choice for those who want to travel quietly. Above all, the hotel staff is very friendly, and they even print out Korean guides for you, so you won't have any problems using them. When I went to Hakata two weeks ago, there were so many Koreans that I wondered if they were Korean or Japanese, but when I traveled to Hakozaki this time, it felt like a completely local place, so it was a very refreshing experience. There is no shortage of shopping centers/restaurants/hospitals/gyms/etc. near the accommodation, and it was so quiet and peaceful. (However, since the airport is close, there are planes flying in every 10 minutes. Those who are sensitive to airplane noise, please take note.) If I go to Hakozaki again, I will stay at Japanisk. I hope this was helpful.

There is also a pool in summer, outdoor cinema at night, fireworks on weekends, and I think it is the best for children and couples. Japanese restaurants are also delicious. It seems that there is nothing in winter, but there is an outdoor sauna, so I think I should open it without paying, and in winter, I would like to make the pool a natural cold bath and advertise it for sale in winter ... There is also a sauna in the large communal bath However, it is a pity that there is no cold bath or well-equipped space. The sauna, cold bath, and the scenery are good, so it would be nice to have a veranda outside and have a well-equipped space. In winter, what about a space where you can bake marshmallows, drink cocoa, and relax around it for a big campfire? I'm looking forward to it because it's a good facility.

I wanted to use the pool, so I used ANA miles for the first time. This time I took the Shinkansen from Kumamoto, so I took a taxi from Meinohama. First of all, the staff's response was good from beginning to end. The room was also fully equipped with a jacuzzi bath and amenities. There was a wide range of drinks, from alcohol to cola. It was convenient because you could go directly to the pool by wearing a gown in your room. The water temperature was also warm. The adult pool is deep and requires a companion. There weren't many people so I was able to relax. There was a corpse of a cicada floating, so you can use it for free research during summer vacation. After the pool, we walked 300m to Malinois and had dinner. I would like to use it again when I have accumulated miles. I bought breakfast at a convenience store about 250m away. It's a bit far from the train station, Malinois, and bus stop, so it was difficult to get around, especially in the heat of the day. It's a nice walking course once you get used to it.

GGuest UserWe stayed here for two nights in the beginning of our trip to Japan and for one night at the end of our trip. The hotel allowed us to store a lot of luggages at the hotel when we travelled elsewhere. The staff is very service minded and my daughter even got gifts at check in. The rooms were very clean. We also got a room upgrade for our last night. The location is as good as it can be with its own subway entrance.
The breakfast is delicious. However, Please note that unusually for Japan five year olds have to pay for breakfast (1650 JPY).
Overall we had a great stay and I highly recommend this hotel. If I return to Fukuoka I will stay here.

Zzh3usFull marks for Dormy Inn, we had impeccable service from the service team over there this time round. As we were using them as a platform to travel throughout Kyushu, we had left some baggage with them while we were away. They were nice enough to keep the baggage for us after they had validated that we have subsequent booking.
The breakfast roast beef was 10/10 best ever, they had an expensive Balmuda Toaster which allows for your toast to be fluffy while crispy and they have a Japanese style breakfast spread consisting of small plates including Mentaiko and Salmon Tartare.
Location is close to Hakata Station, it takes about 12 minutes walk to reach there. Just opposite is FUK Coffee, they serve fantastic expresso coffee and just down the street on the left is an AEON MAX VALUE 24 hour supermarket with cheap bentos, sushi, alcohol and sashimi available. Moving more on the left side direction is a shopping street with Daiso and other amenities.
I have to say that in general, Dormy Inn’s public baths – onsen facilities are top notch, they do not close after midnight (other than the sauna), the shower head is $300 in price from Refa and their hot water mixer taps are not press per use, but those normal ones you just turn on and it runs the water. The public bath is 10/10 fantastic.
During our last night there, Super Typhoon Kong-Rey was in the area and we had huge rainfall. Dormy Inn lent us umbrellas and it was the first time we experienced the fact that many of the guests decided to stay in and not go out. The public bath was full and the free ice cream was almost gone! The free noodles given out from 2130 – 2300 was so full they ran out of noodles and they were nice enough to give the guest that missed out instant versions so that they did not need to leave the hotel in the rain.
Overall I feel that they deserve full 5 stars, I really enjoyed my stay there and wish the staff all the best and thank you for the service!

GGuest UserWe used the superior room with 4 families. It was a semi double bed x 2 + extra bed x 2, but there was a room size and I didn't feel particularly cramped. The meal was finished outside, so there is no restaurant use. It is a new hotel, so it is a comfortable and clean hotel. The Montreal Group also used in Osaka, but I am satisfied with the overall. Not flashy, but no problem with the minimum service, not more than necessary.
AAbe SiargaoWe enjoy the Tokyu Stay chain of hotels in Japan for their simplicity and good selection of useful amenities inside and outside the rooms such as ensuite washer dryer combos and good free coffee at the lobby etc.
This is not a luxury hotel by no means, but they are affordable and are usually located in great down town areas.
GGuest UserI was attracted to the good location of 2 stations by subway airport line from Fukuoka Airport to Hakata Station and about 2 minutes walk from subway Hakata Station to the hotel. This time, I wanted to go to Shimonoseki, Ogura and Yamaguchi Prefecture based in Hakata, so I had a comfortable stay. The amenities were a style that took you from the corner in front of the front desk to the room for as much as you needed, and I felt that it was a good attempt from the viewpoint of environmental protection. I want to stay again. Thank you.

AAnonymous UserRoom was soundproof and on 8th floor. Bidet sprayed rather hot water which was scary and the shower temperature very hard to adjust and water was mainly too hot. Need to keep turning the control to cool it down before you can start to shower. Better to leave it on after you adjust else you have a spend a long time readjusting. Bed does not offer very good support but reasonably comfortable. Hotel charges a fee of 3000 yen for disposal of luggage (including if you spoiled yours by accident). Based on the info online the regulation is you need to pay for disposal of bulk waste but the hotel marked up the fee at least 3 times which I feel is a rip off for a tourist with a damaged luggage and had to get a replacement suitcase already. They put a tiny dustbin in the room and had a TV only with local channels. Service staff unable to even understand and speak basic English. Remember to stick the sticker on your rubbish if it does not fit in the dustbin else they won't clear it even if it is obvious it is rubbish. Grab the free honey tea satchets from front desk and help yourself to the amenity bar at the level 1 lift lobby. They are not high quality but sufficient. The 2 bottled water and daily housekeeping much appreciated. Pajamas too big for me.
