Near the ski slopes, very good location on the main road. Convenient parking, can park in front of the hotel, not waste money. Good atmosphere, the room is not very new but Big enough to put up to 4 large bags and very clean. Overall, it's lovely. Importantly, the price is very cheap and have breakfast as well.
The downside is that the beds that are in the bed are so old that the spring lifts the back and the staff can't speak English.

Outstanding
RRabbit Nature loverThis air bnb-style apartment is simple and clean. Although the place is small, it is comfortable and cheaper than the new apartment hotel nearby. The location is actually quite good. Open the door and you will find the ski trail, which is very suitable for friends who love skiing. When we came to Furano in summer, we did not ski or take a car, but there is a bus stop outside the accommodation, from which we can take a bus to Nakafurano and Upper Furano to see lavender, which is very convenient. We go out by bus at 10:49 every day, and return to the hotel at 20:06 in the evening. You can buy wagyu, bread, etc. in the supermarket near the scenic spot and cook for yourself in the apartment, which is very convenient!

SShmileyIt is the best place to stay in Furano. The bus stop is in front of the Hostel (if you are coming by bus from Sapporo). It is located 5 Min walking distance from the train station. The lounge is huge. The kitchen is amazing and stuffed with everything what you need for cooking. The showers are perfect. For the girls there is an extra room next to the restrooms to get ready, do your Make-up and change. The privacy you get offered is wonderful. The cleanliness overall in this Hostel was absolutely a dream. The matres is perfect. You are going to sleep like a baby. Was one of the best during my stay in Japan. The Café of the hostel is super lovely. Loved my Café Latte. Big shout to all the receptionists. Super kind, lovely and always helpful. Especially Kozue made my stay wonderful. She is a sweetheart. Helped me with so many things and recommended to me the best local Onsen I could have asked for. Overall my stay was a 10/10. Definitely going to stay again here when I am back in Furano. Highly RECOMMENDED! :)

MMing Ying YHighly recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Furano! Love everything about this hotel. Location is walking distance to restaurants and eateries as well as bus & train station. Room is spacious and clean. Highlight of our stay has to be the onsens! There’re private & public onsens to choose from. We managed to try out all 3 private onsens. At peak hours (6pm-10pm) you may have to queue abit for your turn but trust me it’s worth the wait! We enjoyed the free flow popsicles & 10pm ramen supper.

VVaganovaGreat location and service, couldn’t fault that. Helpful staff and literally across the road from the gondola. Great inclusions like afternoon tea with desert bar with nice selection of tasty deserts, ice cream and drinks in the evenings. Breakfast could be improved, great for those that like seafood, but not so great for more western food options. I am sure even in winter there are apples, bananas and other options rather than frozen fruits and pastry that comes in packages that lasts a few weeks or at least that is how pastry tasted. One of the kids only eats toast and eggs or pastry and milk for breakfast and couldn’t find anything to eat there. But my husband loved the buffet. Rooms are pretty outdated, so be mindful. Bathrooms haven’t had anything done to them since probably 80-90th, but it was clean and public bath was good. Restaurant was booked out for dinners for a week in advance (at least) when we checked in but it seemed like there is only one seating in general for dinner.

The convenience of the airport shuttle service was another major plus. It was punctual, well-maintained, and made our arrival and departure seamless. Traveling can sometimes be stressful, especially in winter conditions, but this service made it effortless.
For families, this hotel is an absolute gem. Our kids had an incredible time, from enjoying the cozy common areas to indulging in the delicious food. The dining experience was excellent, offering a variety of well-prepared dishes that catered to both adults and children. Every meal felt like a treat, with fresh ingredients and great flavors.
Beyond the hotel itself, the snowy surroundings added to the magic of our trip. Whether it was waking up to beautiful snow-covered views or simply enjoying the warm and inviting atmosphere indoors, it was a truly memorable experience.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Everything—from the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms to the friendly service and convenient amenities—was outstanding. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway in a winter wonderland, and we can’t wait to return!

The boss is very enthusiastic. Although he can't speak Chinese, there are staff who can speak English to introduce the facilities. The boss lives in the next room. After checking out, he just packs up his luggage and knocks on his door to see if anything is missing.

When you live in the upper bunk, you should pay attention to the head when you get confused.

WWee HianReally near to the train station, and room is clean and reasonable sized in Japanese norm. Breakfast is provided with Japanese and Western set of your choice. Bus stop to the ski resort is just across the street. The only complaint is limited choice of restaurants around but there are supermarkets nearby to buy food.

CChristopher ThiaFenix Furano was a quaint little hotel with little frills, but it suited us fine... we understood the green policy behind minimising housekeeping, and we are totally fine with in.
One downside is that they didn't have non-slip mats for the bathtub when you used it to shower. The body soap was very soapy and with the tub surface; making it a potential safety concern... and indeed, my elderly mum-in-law fell and hit her head.. she had a bump and some bleeding. We hope that the management looks into this for the safety of all guests.
Apart from this, we enjoyed the tranquillity of the vacinity and drove out to wherever we wanted from there. We would recommend this place if you have a rental car.

SShanThe landlady is a very friendly Japanese, always smiling. There are also enthusiastic uncles who can communicate in simple English. The surroundings are very beautiful and quiet. Unfortunately, the location is slightly remote, and it is very troublesome to travel without driving.

Not too far to walk, there is a bus to take to the New Prince Hotel, you can visit the Elf Terrace and Senshiji Cafe.
