Check in was easy, staff was friendly. Our room was clean but sparse. Very plain room with no toiletries except for soap and shampoo in pump bottles. I did find someone’s shower cap hanging from the bathroom door. The bed was comfortable but didn’t sleep very well due to some machine noise outside. We were disappointed that the breakfast was only until 9am. What hotel ends breakfast so early? We don’t want to wake up early just to eat breakfast. Weirdest thing. Overall, it was an okay stay. We were just passing through for the night. If we pass through again, don’t think we’d stay again. Do recommend Willy’s brewery and restaurant in downtown and Black Bear diner for breakfast.

The retro ‘time-capsule’ shower delivers hot water instantly and works perfectly, and the generous dresser space makes longer stays effortless. The only negative was the slow wifi. I had to use data for my conference call.
