vjtThe staff deliver exceptional service, from the door man all the way to their housekeeper and front desk staff. Nikita stood out for his attentiveness. From arrival, they offered a welcome drink and snack during check-in, then walked us to our room. They offer breakfast and even extended the complimentary tea offer even after our checkout, which was generous.
The shower has impressive water pressure. Strong and comfortable. The breakfast spread impressed me, particularly the pho. A hot bowl of pho feels like a warm hug and theirs surpassed the one we had at a restaurant the day before.
The location works well. Ben Thanh Market sits nearby, along with the metro station. The street offers plenty of halal dining options (if that’s what you’re looking for).
The food and service won me over. We will definitely return.

The location is excellent, just 25 minutes from the airport and next to the financial district.
The rooms are quiet and spacious, with a practical desk and high-speed Wi-Fi. The executive lounge offers an efficient meeting space, and the complimentary downtown shuttle saves commuting time.
Japanese-style service is meticulous, and the 24-hour front desk is highly responsive. The gym and pool facilities are well-maintained, perfect for unwinding after a business trip.

NicholasZ8This hotel is the greatest thing in our trip and we really enjoyed our stay here. The team also tried their best to accommodate our request as our room’s mattress is not in good condition.
As a 5 star hotel, there are still some room for improvement in terms of housekeeping and maintenance but the service level pretty much make up for it.
If I ever be back in the city again, I would love to return to this hotel.

NiuarguianaI really like the location of this hotel; it's super convenient to walk to the shopping mall and the Red Light Street. There are tons of cafes, restaurants, massage places, and a beauty salon nearby. There's also a small oasis on the rooftop 😍, which is actually why I came back to this hotel for a second time. The first time I was alone, but I returned two years later with my beloved. This place is special! However, the pool is small and has a lot of chemicals. The room itself is small, but the toilet seat is heated. If I ever find myself in Ho Chi Minh City again, I'll definitely stay at this hotel!

Anonymous UserPros:
Historic building, pleasant courtyard with an indoor pool.
Ample toiletries provided in the bathroom, not just single items.
Attentive staff for cleaning and delivering amenities.
Cons:
The staff don't seem to understand the concept of guest service. Breakfast waiters practically knock you over, trying to get past first. The person delivering luggage to the room told us, 'I'll go first, you take the next elevator.' 😂
Breakfast needs a special mention:
Breakfast hours are until 9:30 AM, but in other hotels in Ho Chi Minh City where we stayed, breakfast was until at least 10:00 AM or 10:30 AM. However, the breakfast time isn't the only issue; waiters start clearing tables and milk pitchers at 9:00 AM, instead of serving guests. They focus on cleaning and clattering dishes, subtly hinting that breakfast is over. Furthermore, not once during our entire stay did anyone offer to bring/pour coffee. Cappuccinos and lattes are made by a separate barista; you can't make these drinks yourself from the coffee machine. There are no freshly squeezed juices. And what's unacceptable is the sour and overcooked vegetables – broccoli and cauliflower. It's surprising that the hotel management isn't monitoring the quality of their establishment; for comparison, look at the Pullman hotel.
In the evening, the cleaning lady in the fitness center was making a lot of noise while cleaning the changing room, making it difficult to concentrate even with headphones on.
Suggestions for the hotel: Train the staff on service and sort out the breakfast issues.

The room was very clean and comfortable, making the stay pleasant from the moment we arrived. The staff were extremely attentive and thoughtful. There is a staircase at the hotel entrance, and every time they saw us coming or going, they would come out to help carry our luggage and shopping bags, and warmly open the door for us. It truly made us feel welcomed and well taken care of.
Breakfast included a hot bowl of Vietnamese pho, which was delicious. In the afternoon, they served Vietnamese coffee along with some lovely snacks, which was a nice touch. I especially loved the scent when entering the hotel—it was so calming and refreshing.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely come back again!

AileenzscThe room was clean, tidy, spacious, and very comfortable. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and thoughtful. It was great to be able to open the windows for fresh air. The breakfast fruit was fresh and delicious. Plus, the hotel's location on Ho Chi Minh Square made getting around super convenient.

Anonymous UserOnly stayed for one night and didn't have time to use the pool, which was a shame. I did get to see it though, and the view was great; it looked like a perfect place to relax. The hairdryer in the room was a bit disappointing – it seemed to have a loose connection as I had to hold the plug in place with one hand to use it. Other than that, the room was clean.

I stayed at Au Lac Legend Hotel and found the location very convenient, with most attractions within walking distance. The rooftop pool, lounge deck, and midday tea were nice highlights, and the front desk was helpful with organizing tours. The price meets expectations for what you get.
However, the service was disappointing. It often took multiple requests for drinks, table cleanup at breakfast, and even room cleaning, and the staff seemed overworked. I also booked two rooms with windows, but neither room actually had one.

The apartment was clean and offered beautiful views. It was also very close to the city center, and getting a taxi was very convenient.
