Roganstown Hotel & Country Club

We were so looking forward to our visit and so disappointed when we arrived. Room was very tired and needed renovation. It had two small plain twin beds in, no niceties and looked so depressing. The threadbare carpet was rippled where it no longer fitted the floor. The bathroom was incredibly basic. No effort had been made to make it look nice. The restaurant area was more like a pub than a 4 star hotel. The hotel was full for a wedding so we couldn’t move room. We complained to management who kindly comped our meal and drinks. When we checked out we were told that all the rooms were the same. The website makes this hotel look a lot nicer than it is in reality. If I’d seen accurate photographs I would not have booked to stay there.
Premier Inn Dublin Airport Hotel

Need to know: It is currently 2.5 pounds per person each way to ride the necessary airport shuttle bus. Dublin Airport imposes a long walk on everyone using any of the shuttle buses, which stop much closer to the bus station than the airport (however, you can't get a cab because the distance is too short). In addition, Dublin Airport has a very confusing entrance/exit area definitely designed to make it impossible for vehicles to get anywhere close to the terminal, but also making it virtually impossible to make sense of the signage and twists and turns when using public or for-hire transportation. You need time, both in and out!! I downgraded to ”4” for Location because we had to pay for the airport shuttle - the more expensive, name-brand airport hotels do not charge. Also, breakfast is not included at the Premier Inn and is currently 9.95 pounds for continental, including a few hot items you can order, or 11.95 pounds for the full hot breakfast. The food is good and the restaurant is large and comfortable. On the plus side, our room - with a queen bed - was large, the bathroom and closet were generously large, and the room furnishing is simple but quite functional. Worth being this close to the airport to make sure you are timely for your flight, especially flying to the US, which definitely takes 3 hrs as you go through Ireland security followed by US-specific security that is a long walk away and repeats all the standard airport security processes!!
Travelodge Dublin Airport North 'Swords'

Ideal preflight stopover. Handy to have bar and Cafe . Staff very efficient and friendly. Quiet considering proximity to the airport. Could not fault this hotel it had everything we needed for our stay
The Old Borough Hotel - Wetherspoon
4/584 Reviews
We stayed here after a long flight into Dublin Airport and were surprised how close it is to the airport! Less than 10 minute drive to a lovely little town with many nice restaurants and bars. You can also drive into Malahide in less than 10 minute too. The hotel itself was lovely with a large room and nice bathroom. The staff were very friendly and there is parking at the hotel. There is a bar on site so it can be a little loud but there wasn’t noise too late at night so I wouldn’t let this put anyone off staying here
