Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park

The environment is clean and the service is attentive. A special shout-out to the gentleman at the front desk who spoke Chinese; he was very patient in helping us with our issues. Thumbs up! My only minor gripe is that the breakfast was exactly the same for four days straight; it would be nice to have some variety. However, this small flaw doesn't affect my five-star rating for the hotel. The location is absolutely fantastic! 👍

Perfect location! Breakfast hours are generous, and the variety is quite good. The hot noodle soup was a big plus! 👍 The staff are all very friendly. The room was spacious, and the bedding was very comfortable.

An older hotel, but the location is truly excellent. It's right across the street from the train station, and Hyde Park is directly opposite the hotel. It's a central location, making it convenient to go anywhere. Although the hotel shows its age a bit, it's very clean. The room size is decent, and it even came with a universal adapter. Breakfast was just okay. Overall, I was quite satisfied.

The hotel's location is excellent; the train station is just a few steps away, and it's only one stop to the Opera House, which is super convenient. Myer, DJ, and Chemist Warehouse are all nearby, making shopping easy. Several famous restaurants like Totti's and Encasa are also within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here when you visit Sydney; it's truly convenient and comfortable!

The rooms are spacious, and the room service and concierge service were also good. However, if you're looking to be close to the beach, you might want to consider another place. It's about a 20-minute walk to the Opera House, but the path is pleasant and safe. The hotel breakfast is very generous, and it offers great value for money. Overall, I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit. If I had to pick a flaw, it would be that they seem to treat Ctrip customers differently. My room had an odd, irregular shape, wasn't perfectly square, and faced the street, which made it a bit noisy in the early morning. Still, the overall size was decent.

We checked into the hotel on the evening of the 23rd, and as soon as we lay down, I broke out in a rash. I went to the front desk, and they said the housekeeping department had already left. Then a gentleman came, and he was quite polite. He changed all the bedding, and we showered again, which made us feel a bit better. However, it seemed like the bedding hadn't been changed at all; there were still hairs on it. The hygiene conditions are truly alarming. On the second day, who would dare ask them to change the bedding again, worrying that what they brought back would still be unclean? Perhaps it's peak tourist season... and the bedding wasn't changed. When I booked, I thought this hotel had pretty good ratings in all aspects, so how could it be like this? It's utterly disappointing.

Location: The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's super convenient to get everywhere, whether by walking, train, bus, or light rail. Coming from the airport, you just get off at the subway station, cross the road, and you're there – so easy even with luggage. 👍 Environment: The room is spacious, and the bathroom is also quite large, plus it even has a walk-in closet. My first impression was that it felt like a renovated old building, especially with the very vintage-looking windows. We booked a twin room, and the beds were a bit small. Overall, it was very clean with great attention to detail. Basic toiletries were provided, and the shower had strong water pressure and heated up quickly – perfect for a refreshing shower after a long day out. Service: I absolutely love this Chinese-friendly hotel! On our first day, a Chinese guy helped me check in and patiently and kindly answered all my questions on the spot. It really set a great tone for our self-guided tour! 👍 PS: Bottled water was replenished daily!!!! That was a really nice touch.
