The hotel is in a perfect location, the old village and the castle are within a few minutes' walk. The breakfast and dinner are outstanding, with dishes made from special ingredients. The wellness area overlooking the mountains is a perfect place to relax. The only downside is that the only Finnish sauna is occupied by ten people during the sauna seances, three times a day, so the other hotel guests cannot use it.

Nice decoration before X mas time. Hotel& kitchen is Superb! Rooms are big, clean, clear. Foods: one of the best hotel’s food in Hungary.All type of meals are 5 stars.Bread is fantastic with high range of varieties.At breakfast you can taste hungarian Langos, which is maybe the best what i ever tasted. Location- great one, walking distance from the Unesco heritage site if Holloko Food- exceptional, both at dinner and breakfast Hotel- standard 4 star, with all amenities by the book. Spa- not too big, not too small. 3 types of saunas, the steambath was not working fully Cleanliness - rooms- ok. Spa general- ok, though some showers seemed with rust on the floor. The private jacuzzi was dirty- with hair, dirt in the water and dirt stucking on the edge of the jacuzzi. Rip off- no late check out possible ( which I can understand) but also no free access after 11.00 to the wellness area. ( pity, as few extra people does not add to the costs but create a feeling of great service). We arrived at lunch- we were told that it is not possible to have lunch in the restaurant, they solved it shortly. Staff- generally polite, well groomed.

The hotel is a real pearl: clean and nice; they offer the best of Hungarian hospitality. Went there with work colleagues and friends, enjoyed the wellness area - especially the sauna which has a nice view over the valley -, the bowling and the pool bar. The early morning view from the room was unforgettable, just as the the whole experience.

We had a fantastic one night experience at Hollokó, nice hotel, amazing food, gorgious wellness area, polite staff. Next day after the check out we had a one day free use of wellness area use in our package so we planned that after the excursion we will return to the spa. But when we checked out the receptionist told us that we can use the wellness only till 2 pm. I was totally shocked and félt to be cheated as we were counted with this option, as it was included in our package, so it is a great dissappointment at the end. I am realky sorry, bur I think the information given should be in line with the realty. I exoected more from a 4 star hotel in this term.

The "excellent"Reviews below are totally exagerated or the five star reviewers have never eaten anywhere decent! We reserved a table for two,about 5 other tables occupied, after 25 min, no service not even a menu! When complaining to the waiter, he blatantly turned his face and ignored us! We proceeded to leave and on our way out passed by the reception desk, there we had the same treatment, shrugging of shoulders and a no care attitude, I do not advise anyone to eat at the restuarant or stay at this hotel, its a poor reflection on a quaint, cute village☹️

La soluzione perfetta per visitare Holloko senza tanti turisti, soprattutto al mattino, in pochi minuti anche a piedi. Un hotel molto carino, moderno con servizio self service sia per la cena che per la colazione. Camera ampia e grande bagno. Consiglio certamente.

Es ist eine sehr schöne Hotel mit schönen Zimmer und nette Personal besonders die Rezeptionistin ( leider Name weiß ich nicht) und über zwei weitere Personal kann ich sehr gut berichten, Dalma und Gergö, sie haben uns mit sehr nette Art geholfen recht zu finden.. Leider gibt keine Fußpflege und Maniküre. Nur eine kleine Aquarium mit Fische. Wir haben gebucht eine Gesichtshandlung und eine Fußmassage. Leider könnten wir nicht parallel machen lassen, weil ein einzige Person macht alles. Sie ist eine ganz liebe Masseurin nur eben alleine. Es gibt ein Dampfbad, Infrarotkabine, Sauna und ein Pool. Für uns war genug und es war auch nicht voll. Gott sei Dank, weil wie ich erfahren habe, am Wochenende ist immer viel los, das Hotel ist fast ausgebucht, aber die Wellness Bereich für das Hotel Kapazität ist zu klein. Meine Fazit, es war in Ordnung, hab schon besseres für 4 Sterne erlebt, aber auch eben schlechteres.
