Hortz Hotels and Resorts Tagaytay

The hotel was really good. The service was top tier! They took care of us already even before we checked in. Receptionists were so nice and helpful. Commendations to Donna who assisted us with our booking! We brought my grandfather with us on the second day and the staff often offered to assist us with his wheelchair and gave a hand going up a few steps. The hotel has their own restaurant and the service was very very good. Commendations to Kuya James, the waiter at Facio, who took care of our endless requests during breakfast. Points for improvement however is the South Wing Room 107. The rooms are clean and spacious, but the noise outside is very loud. Room 107 is by the roadside so speeding motorists and sometimes people playing music from nearby can be heard as if the windows are open. Hopefully they could install something to muffle the sounds from the road. Nevertheless, given the chance, we'd book here again! Thank you so much to the staff of the Hotel ＜3

the place was very old, everything even amenities. bed linens the rooms very old, not recommended place to stay. but their restaurant is nice.

It is a good hotel but I won’t recommend it.

We had a great stay at Hortz in Tagaytay. The staff were very accommodating and even let us switch to one of their new Japandi rooms, which was spacious, nicely designed, and had new appliances. It fit our group of six comfortably (though the extra foldable beds weren’t the comfiest). The place is accessible, with its own café, restaurant, and souvenir shop. Only downside was the shower heater and water pressure, but overall, service and experience were really good. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

they have good services and relaxing place but the rooms are little bit old.

The hotel has informed me when I checked in, that the photos of the room I booked which I saw from trip.com’s site, was not the same as what they will give me. And since we were tired from the long travel, I just agreed as long as the number of beds that I’ve booked were the same and the room was senior-friendly. The room was, in general, clean and spacious. However, the phone and the TV were not working. I informed the reception about it and was told it would be fixed after 3 days. The toilet was a disappointment as it looked dilapidated and mouldy. Overall, the staff were friendly and the place looked nice, however, I think there would be a better place to go that is the same as the price I paid.

Hortz is a nice hotel, a getaway in Tagaytay City. Its a but far from Grocery Stores and other shops but all in all it was a great place to stay. You can also bring your pets.
