Yunchao Hotel

Don't expect too much when you're on top of Mount Tai. Overall, the hotel is decent. It's very close to the Taohuayu cable car, practically right outside the door, and Tianjie is just 50 meters away. All in all, it offers good value for money. In the morning, the hotel provides a guide to take guests to Guanri Peak for the sunrise, but there's no wake-up call service, so you'll need to set your own alarm.

The location is excellent, though the facilities are a bit lacking. But considering it's at the top of Mount Tai, one can't be too demanding. Luckily, the hotel offers breakfast and a guided tour for the sunrise, so overall, I was pretty satisfied. I hope the hotel facilities will be improved for my next visit.

For 20 yuan per person, you get congee, noodles, soy milk and fried dough sticks, eggs, and hot dishes. It's a huge plus to have such a warm and hearty breakfast on the mountaintop!

When I booked, I didn't realize it was a basement room, and I was worried it might be damp, thinking my 70-year-old mother wouldn't be comfortable. When I checked in at the front desk, I inquired about a room upgrade, and to my surprise, the hotel had already upgraded our room for free! Their service was fantastic. They not only thoroughly explained how to use the room facilities and the breakfast arrangements but also gave us detailed information about the morning sunrise viewing spot. It was incredibly thoughtful. The room was very clean, and while the shower water pressure was a bit inconsistent, the water temperature was great. The breakfast exceeded my expectations the most. For only 20 yuan per person, it was excellent value for money. I loved the stir-fried noodles with shredded potatoes, and the soy milk was also rich and fragrant. There were many other options to choose from. All in all, staying here was truly wonderful, and we even saw the most beautiful sunrise. I'll definitely stay here again next time I climb Mount Tai.

Overall, for 600 RMB, I'm very satisfied with a room like this on the mountaintop. The 20 RMB per person breakfast was delicious. Plus, having someone specifically lead you to watch the sunrise was totally worth it.

Great location, and the hotel offers a free guided sunrise tour. We went during the May Day holiday, met at 3:50 AM, and departed at 4:00 AM, which gave us plenty of time to see the entire sunrise. The public restrooms weren't very clean, but everything else was good.

The room has quite a unique character. The hotel is located on the mountaintop, about a 15-minute walk from Yuhuangding, so it's not a strenuous hike. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, but overall acceptable. Breakfast is entirely vegetarian, with eggs and homemade soy milk available.

This hotel is perfectly located near Nantianmen Tianjie, offering a quiet escape despite being in a bustling area. The room was clean and tidy. Although I didn't get to see the sunrise, going up the mountain in the afternoon meant no queues for the sightseeing bus or cable car. It was a great choice, allowing me to completely avoid the May Day holiday crowds!

This room atop the mountain was quite good, offering an excellent spot to watch the sunset. The hotel provided meals, and the food was delicious. They also arranged guided tours to see the sunrise. There was an optional 30 RMB charge for sunrise photos, which was a nice touch.
