Really nice accomodation, looks like a big dorm on paper but it doesn't fell like it as it's very spacious! The only downside for me was the restricted use of the kitchen, with treat of report to the police😶

Second time in Taichung, this place was a great place to stay. Hotel is on the seventh floor, only accessible by lift. Staff were friendly and the room was clean and modern.

Booked a single room for two nights and got upgraded to a double room, and the bed was super comfy. The room came with Up Mountain, Down River toiletries, and overall it was very clean. Even the mini-fridge in the room had no weird smells. It's really close to the Taichung Boulevard Yuanzi Street Intersection bus stop. I arrived around 8 PM and there was still staff available for check-in. At this price point, it's definitely worth it!

The location is super convenient, close to a market. It's about a 15-minute walk to Yizhong Night Market and also 15 minutes to Taichung Train Station. The area is very functional with lots of amenities nearby. The room was spacious and clean, and there are many lovely cafes in the vicinity too.

I had a very pleasant stay at Mini West Hotel. Everything was perfect overall — the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was extremely clean, modern, and comfortable. There were only two issues for me. First, the mattress was a little too short. This is something I’ve noticed quite often in Taiwan, as I’m a Westerner and taller than the average ********* person, so my feet often stick out from the end of the mattress. The other issue was the street-facing room. Early-morning traffic noise was quite noticeable, and because I’m a light sleeper, I woke up around 7:00 a.m. every day. If you’re sensitive to noise, I would recommend requesting a room away from the street. Apart from these points, I really enjoyed my stay. The cleanliness, modern design, and friendly staff made it a great experience overall.

Small but perfectly formed! This place offered such great value for money, especially compared to the more expensive and terrible Tomorrow Hotel Taichung Dakeng Park that I stayed at the next day. The location is good, though the elevator to get in is a bit hard to find; you have to check the map to realize it's on the 7th floor. There's a shared space at the bar, and the hostel part is further inside. I was a bit surprised that the bedsheet was torn. When I asked the old gentleman, he said business was so good that they hadn't been able to replace them all.

the coffin is spacious, clean. the staff is nice:) locatuon isn’t next to a vivid area but it’s enough of everything here and the bus stop is right next to the place. the views from the public area are gorgeous! p.s. to my mind stairs to the upper berth organized inconvenient...

This hotel is suitable for solo travelers. The room, toilet, and shower all meet a basic standard of cleanliness. Having a refrigerator and drinking water available was convenient. Unfortunately, there was a guest shouting abusive language at night, and it took a while for the staff to address it.
