Hotels in Yi-Chung Bazaar, Taichung

Near Yizhong night market and many good restaurants. Also close to many bus stops. I traveled only by bus when staying in Taichung and it was so convenient. Even though my room is not spacious, it is clean and comfortable to stay. Trash is taken out every day. There is a water dispenser near the elevator that guests can use. The hotel staff is also really nice.

The room was quite clean and spacious. For parking, if you're driving an RV or a larger vehicle, it won't fit in the mechanical parking system. You'll need to call ahead to reserve a dedicated spot (NT$200 per day); otherwise, you'll have to find parking yourself nearby. The hotel offers a simple complimentary breakfast, including items like coffee, cookies, hot water, and toast. The location is pretty good, being close to the Yizhong Street Night Market and shopping district.

I am satisfied happy and comfortable with my stay. This hotel is highly recommended. Clean environment. Peaceful and very good location

The mattress is quite hard, and the pillow does not provide enough support, but it doesn’t affect my sleep. The soundproofing is good and being on the 7th floor, I can’t hear traffic noise. I sleep with the lights off, but after waking up, the lights somehow turn on automatically. The basic amenities are complete, the air conditioning is cold, and the lighting is comfortable. The bathroom is spacious, but the drainage in the shower area is a bit slow, so it creates puddle after every shower. The lobby is large. There is a water dispenser and there are sofas. The location is right in Yizhong Street Night Market. Within walking distance, there are four vegetarian restaurants and a self-service laundry. Overall, it’s a good experience. Recommended 👍

First off, the location is indeed excellent, and the hotel's interior is clean. I didn't book breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The main issue, though, is the parking! I triple-checked the booking platform, and it clearly stated that parking was available. However, upon checking in at the hotel, I was told that this room type doesn't come with parking. I was completely dumbfounded; this wasn't mentioned on the platform. The hotel even asked us to move our car, and it honestly felt like a scam. We booked this hotel specifically because we needed parking, and then we were denied it and told to leave. Whose fault is this, the hotel's or Trip.com's? I've used Trip.com for so many years, is this making me doubt its quality? And then there's the hotel itself: if this room type doesn't include parking, does that mean you have to book a much more expensive room to get a parking spot? Is this differential treatment? Do budget guests get no respect? It wasn't even that cheap; over three thousand for one night isn't expensive, but it's not so cheap that they can't even provide a parking space! The hotel provided nothing, not even parking, which is one of the main reasons guests choose a hotel. Right, if business is good, they don't worry about losing customers, do they?😏

The location was excellent, and the room was clean, comfortable, and tidy. It's just a 10-15 minute walk to the night market and commercial area, offering plenty of dining and shopping options. If I come back to Taichung, I would definitely choose to stay here again!

The neighborhood seems to be residential, so it was very quiet at night. The bed was great! I slept soundly until dawn. Although the location is in an alley, it's easy to find. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

Best hotel we stayed since our Taiwan trip. Was upgraded to a huge room and it exceeded our expectation. Every things was explained to us patiently during our check in. It was all within walking distance to 2nd market, Miyahara and night market. Will definitely stay again in Taichung if we ever return.

The TV in the room doesn't work. After informing the counter staff in advance, they came to repair it, but it didn't work. I told the staff that it was okay if I didn't use it. Later, the staff called the room and said they would help us change the room. After seeing it, I found that it was an upgraded room type. The service was good and polite. The CP value is high. This room is highly recommended. It is really close to No. 1 Middle School for shopping. 👍🏻

First time staying here. The price was good, the room was spacious, and the soundproofing was decent. The only downside is that the facilities are a bit old. Breakfast was quite good, but there aren't enough power outlets. The bed was very soft and comfortable, making for a great night's sleep.
