It was great experience.

A huge thank you to Mr Adnan, Villas Manager, for arranging such an outstanding Christmas dinner for us on the compound. Hosting it over the weekend made it so everyone could attend, and the entire event was exceptionally well organised from start to finish. The food was absolutely fantastic. The range and quality were genuinely impressive. There was an excellent selection of starters, both traditional and multi-international, including options such as sushi and a wide variety of hot and cold dishes. The main courses were equally outstanding; traditional turkey with Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and gravy, alongside an exceptional beef Wellington, grilled meats, seafood, fresh salads, and a great variety of accompaniments. The fresh juices, including carrot and watermelon, were a great touch. The desserts were equally impressive, with a wide selection available, including a beautifully presented Christmas cake. Everything was excellent, and the overall food standard was very high throughout. Everyone was more than well fed and thoroughly enjoyed the quality and choice on offer. A special mention to Head Waiter Amirul and his excellent team of waiters; Ajijur Rahman, Abdullah, Nur Uddan, Fakrul, Sabbir, and Rashid; who delivered outstanding service throughout the evening. As always, they were friendly, professional, attentive, and ensured everyone was very well looked after. Huge credit to the chefs; Kader, Joynal, Balal, and Salem; who did an incredible job delivering such a wide and high-quality menu. The balance between traditional Christmas dishes and international cuisine was spot on. What really makes this place special is the staff. The multicultural team brings together different cultures and influences, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for the small expat community on the compound, while also reflecting genuine Saudi hospitality. The setup, service, and overall experience were excellent, and the feedback from everyone was overwhelmingly positive. Everyone had a fantastic time; great food, great people, and a great atmosphere. The staff truly make this place what it is. Highly recommended.

The vintage vibe really made all of the difference. The outdoor lounge allowed us to get fresh air and chill. Room service was amazing, and the breakfast exceeding our expectations!

Stayed in the IHV compound in Taif on business. Had a very comfortable experience. In particular, the restaurant staff were very attentive and would go the extra mile to have a crack on with me, as well as cater to unique requests e.g., I have an annoying coffee order... Shout out to Amirol, Belal, and Mohammed - great staff! Food is good too... my "Taif tummy" is coming along nicely

The classic hotel in Taif city. The restaurant has a different of food: Indian, Egyptian, seafood, and international. The breakfast is wonderful, and they take guests’ suggestions into account. The service is excellent, especially Ajit, Ashraf, Shafiq, and Jay. I recommend visiting it, and you will visit again.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The check-in experience was welcoming and handled with professionalism. As Diamond Members, we were delighted to receive a mixed fruit plate and assorted nuts, a thoughtful gesture that truly made us feel valued as loyal IHG guests. The hotel was exceptionally quiet, almost no guests in the hotel. While the rooms were comfortable, they do feel slightly dated. We enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant, where the team was consistently polite and attentive. The managers regularly stopped by to ensure we were enjoying our experience, which we greatly appreciated. On our second day, the entire restaurant team personally congratulated us on our Diamond Member status—an incredibly kind and memorable touch that felt genuinely personal. We would gladly recommend this hotel to friends and family. With future updates to the rooms and health club area, the experience would be even more exceptional.
