Tainan South District Hotels

There was a smell when I checked in. Even after the counter assisted with ozone deodorization, the smell was still there. It would have been better to open the window myself. The smell was still there after closing the window. The sound insulation is extremely poor. On the 20th trip to the hotel, the sound of footsteps upstairs woke me up directly from 6 to 7 o'clock in the morning... The deluxe twin room is not luxurious at all. The mirror is so bad that it has not been replaced. The parking space in the basement is very small. . . 3400 is worse than staying in Youai Street. Although the sound insulation is not good, at least it doesn't stink and is new. . .

Hotel Sukimi is located within walking distance from the Dongmen Night Market (but not that the NM is only opened on mon, wed and fri) the room is slightly smaller than it looks from the picture provided but its of comfortable size the hotel provides soap n shampoo thru dispenser though they no long provide one time use bottles.. toothbrush is provided too.. the hotel has bicycle for rent...there is a park juz outside the hotel, abt 5mins out.. i see many reviews abt the hotel breakfast half good half bad.. dun expect wide spread.. porridge, salad bar, cooked food and toast are available... drinks like hot cold tea, coffee, milk are oso provided.. the menu changed slight on the the days we were there but still relatively good.. macdonalds is outside along the road abt 15mins walk.. can take a good walk at the park and head out for breakfast too location of the hotel is slightly inside a residential area not in sight from outside the road.. quiet and serene oh they have ample parking lots underground the hotel or juz outside the hotel @ a low hourly rate overall i would recommend stay at this hotel 👍🏻👍🏻 ps forgot to take photos 🤦🏻♀️🤣

Better than expected after reading the reviews, the room is so big! I was also very happy in the children's playground. I played 3 games in total. Later, I simply ordered takeout instead of eating out to let the children play thoroughly! Hope the room rate can be more favorable, then we will book again more frequently!

Do not choose the room with breakfast since is not a buffet where you can choose or a la carte, the will bring you something to the room, whatever is on the day, you like it or not, so for the price of the breakfast you can buy anything you like out or even order in Uber or food panda. The place is good to chill for 2 days, because each room has a pool and a jacuzzi, the room smells a lot like pool water, has 7-11 and supermarket around but is rally far from the city center.

Convenient transportation, there is a public parking lot next to it, there is a park in front, the surrounding attractions are great, suitable for children to discharge, washing machine 8F, no breakfast preferred affordable, housekeeping + reception are very intimate

The housekeeper has turned on the air conditioner before arrival, and feels very comfortable when entering the room. The room is very clean and the equipment is very new. The homestay is located next to the road, but the sound is good, and the sound of vehicles passing by is not heard. The location is also very good, not far from the attractions, very convenient 👍🏻

The customer service is very good, but the small helper is only open until 6 pm, everyone should pay attention; then the actual seat of the hotel should be found, in the narrow alley, it is recommended to contact the hotel in advance to ask! For me personally, the location is a big plus. After all, the best thing in Tainan is the beautiful ancient wind alley. Everything else is great and the furnishings are very comfortable. However, it is an ordinary residence. The locomotive is quite loud. It is recommended to bring earplugs.

When I checked in on the first night, the edge of the bed sheet felt a bit old, but it looked clean. When I lifted the quilt, I found a yellow stain on the bed sheet, as if it wasn't washed properly... But I was staying alone, so I didn't inform the front desk immediately to avoid trouble in the middle of the night, thinking that I wouldn't get touched by sleeping on the side. As a result, I felt itchy all over the whole night! Because we booked a 2-day stay, we quickly asked the front desk to arrange for housekeeping to clean the room the next morning. The changed sheets and quilts felt very clean, the quilt cover had no rust, and the name of the hotel was printed on it. But in the morning I was told that the cups on the counter table were terrible. The stacked cups had not been cleaned and were moldy. I didn't dare to use them at all. When I returned to the room the next night, I saw the same horrible cup. Overall, the transportation is convenient and you can see the location as soon as you exit the train station, which is very convenient. Although there is a place to play video games on the first floor, it is relatively safe as you can occasionally see the building manager patrolling the first floor. There are coin-operated washing machines and coin-operated lockers outside on the first floor. The service staff is friendly, the toilet is clean and the sound insulation is good, but the cleaning of the room may need attention.
