The room is smaller than expected from photos. One major downside is the height of the rainshower which is way too low. Imagine it can hit my head! Only suitable for height 1.7m and below.

I really enjoyed my stay at Midtown Richardson! The location was absolutely unbeatable just steps from Ximen MRT station and right in the heart of the Ximending shopping and food district, which made exploring Taipei super easy. The rooms were modern and comfortable with all the essentials like free Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge, and a kettle.

Hotel has a very good location - the best part is it’s located near the MRT, and within walking distance to Ximending shopping street. Downside is check-in is strictly at 3pm only due to system constraint- it’s self check in.

The hotel location is fantastic. Just opposite the famous area of Ximending and easy access to anywhere. The subway mrt station just a 2 min walking distance from the hotel. The bathroom and toilet in the room is spacious and great.

The hotel looks very grand and offers a great location (5 mins walk to Ximen station exit 4). However, I find the reception and breakfast service rushed and impersonal. Due to the high volume of check-in, we are expected to check in using their self service terminals but there aren't much instructions. Similarly the service staff at breakfast are always rushing people. And none of the staff carries a smile sigh. Quite disappointing as I booked 5 months ahead for this hotel. Hardware good software nowhere, time to review!

Everytime we go to taiwan we always stay at this hotel as we are a family of 4. The location is about 10 mins walk to ximending thats the shopping area. The hotel now DOES NOT give toilettries in thr bathroom. They just have the dispenser of shampoo and shower gel. So you have to bring your own toothrbush, toothpaste, shaver, vanity kit etc. They do change your bath towels VERY PROMPTLY. The receptionists were all fabulous! Very courteous! Very nice to talk to! We will definitely still stay at this hotel the next time we go back to taiwan. Happy New Year everyone! 😘😘😘

My husband and i had the best experience during our stay in hotel midtown, its super convenient and very near mrt station. Hotel staffs are accomodating.

What about no directory when U go up to 15th floor? So one has to 1) figure out the logic (ya, the logic is half numerical, and half odd/even-which half belongs to which? U have to get some luck!) of room number arrangements 2) search from 1-95 left and right just to know where the hell/heaven we are in. There are 4 alleys leading to different directions of the buildings. Really fun when you need to roll over heavy luggages, particular after a long day. Spent 30mins up and down to figure out where the room is. Waste of time.
