Accessible to main station, so convenient to all.

Very polite staff and clean room. But walk way is extremely dark, walking alone can be scary.

Decent value for money, good for a 1 night stay. The hotel does not have windows. This is clearly stated when you book the room. The room itself had everything you need, although I missed a hand soap at the sink. The shower was hot and had good water pressure. The AC worked well and was very silent. The bed is a bit hard and you do hear some noise from the corridor. I arrived at noon and could check-in early which was very pleasant. Late check-out is reasonably priced at NT$150 per hour for a check-out at 2PM. The hotel is a short walk from Taipei Main Station and has many food stalls in the direct area. Ximending is also 10-15 minutes walk. You had to wait a long time for the elevator, because the hotel is located on the 6th floor of a commercial building with 2/3 other hotels, Sushiro restaurant and offices.

Simple room, there is a water cooler outside and we were allowed to store our luggage before check in time.

The environment is very quiet and relaxing. The room is a bit small but gets everything. Close to the train station and shops and restaurants.

Smile Inn is definitely the worst place for a staycation. The soundproofing in the room is so bad that you'll get a call from the counter staff to lower down your volume. We have to constantly whisper in our room to speak. The next day early morning gets woken up by residents next door banging the doors and staff cleaning during checkout. The location is near metro but the lift landing is hard to find as there is no sign whatsoever that leads us to the lift. Very unpleasant experience. Book a your own risk.

For convenience, cleanliness and affordability with added bonus for friendly and accomodating staffs, I highly recommended booking this. A lot of food shops around like mcdonals and japanese cuisine within the building

Stayed for 4 nights and honestly overall it's been a good stay. Location was superb really, can't ask for better since it's very easily accessible, with lots of food arouns, and also easy to find my way back. Clean and front desk staffs were very friendly and helpful too. Only thing I can be improved is the soundproof. For light sleeper, would recommend that you bring along earplugs!

Nice, clean hotel, easily walkable from Taipei Main Railway Station. I wanted to charter a taxi to visit National Palace Museum, Yangmingshan National Park and Tamsui under tight schedule. This hotel was able to arrange this taxi based on advance e-mail communication without issues, despite my late check-in at 22:40 and early check-out at 8 a.m. in the following morning. Another bonus it the good sushi place on the 2nd floor of the same hotel building. The reception closes at 23:00, so you have to check in before then, though.

Pleasant stay at Smile Inn with spacious room and clean toilet.

Hotel is not new but they maintain the service well, location not too far from exit Z4 (with lift), the hotel is located above Mc donald (same building) my stay was quite comfortable, the staff is kindly she give amenities like toothbrush, comb when i arrived in the hotel, the room itself is clean even though it's small room, I stayed in the Fashion Double room

You get what you paid. Location superb as very near to subway and you have plenty of restaurants downstairs and nearby. Can be slow when waiting for lift as only 2 lifts for customers to use while have to share with other floor users.
