The location is unbeatable, right next to Taipei Main Station's Z4 exit, in the building with McDonald's. It's super convenient to get anywhere, and there are FamilyMart, 7-Eleven, and other convenience stores nearby. Liu Shan Dong Beef Noodles is also right next door. You can even walk to Ximending and Ningxia Night Market (about 15 minutes). The room itself is quite clean, though a bit small. The only inconvenience is that you have to fold up your suitcase, or there's no room to move around. Also, the soundproofing isn't great; you can hear conversations, showers from the next room, and corridor noise very clearly. If you're a light sleeper, remember to bring earplugs. Overall, for the price, the conditions are pretty good. You get what you pay for, so don't be too picky at a low price point. I think it's acceptable, and I'd likely stay here again.

Small room, good enough to put a night before traveling out from Taipei Main Station. Good price too.

Location is conveniently next to the many food stalls and shops. It takes around 10 minutes walking to Ximending. Found some black spots on the towels and the room is a bit dusty. But overall it’s acceptable for this price.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we appreciated being allowed to check in early as our room was already prepared. We booked a Standard Triple Room without windows. The room was compact but clean and comfortable. However, the soundproofing could be improved, as conversations from the hallway were quite audible. The hotel’s location is excellent, with easy access to major tourist attractions and Taipei Main Station. There are also plenty of eateries conveniently located around the hotel area.

Location was excellent, just across the Mitsukoshi Mall, which was just across Taipei Main Station. Plenty of food options outside with McDonald's and Sushiro in the same building, but also plenty of local food sellers around the area. Watson's, Uniqlo, and convenience stores are also within the vicinity. About a 10-15 min walk to Ximending or the National Museum, sidewalks are covered, so no problem even if sunny. The room was okay, a little cramped just like in HK. Housekeeping was good, with new towels, water and tea every day. Front desk was approachable, you can request various things like slippers and toiletries plus there's a weighing scale there for big luggages. As it's only an inn, so don't expect amenities like gym or resto. Would likely stay again for next visit but only if a room with windows are available as the inner rooms make it not so cheerful to stay inside.

The hotel very close to the Taipei main station. Easy for grab stuff , food, shopping, transportations. For those who wanna take early morning flight. Recommended to stay in this hotel.

My stay at Smile Inn didn't quite live up to expectations. The room was incredibly small; once I opened my luggage, there was very little space to move around, making it feel quite cramped. On top of that, the hotel's overall environment and facilities looked a bit dated, and the cleanliness was just okay – it never felt truly spotless, so I didn't feel particularly comfortable or relaxed during my stay. If you're only staying for a short period or on a tight budget, it might be an option, but if you have higher standards for your accommodation and comfort, I'd suggest looking at other choices.

Location : Perfect for shop and dine. Walkable to Ximending and Taipei main station is just a few minutes walk away. Room : Relatively small but clean with fresh towels & sheets + all basic amenities provided. Staffs : were friendly and will ask if you need to make up the room, change towels and replenish the drinking water, coffee or tea bags. The only thing that I am not used to is the lightings in the lobby and common area was too dim. It was like entering a Karaoke !

Great location, few minutes walk to MRT stations and train station, plenty of food options. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained. Staff who checked up in was friendly and helpful. The room is clean, has everything we needed, good shower pressure. just a bit small, we had 3 backbags and it was hard to move around for 2 people. Except that everything was great!

It’s super good location, within 200 m from Taipei main metro station. The reception is very friendly and nice. I highly recommend this place

Wonder hotel with perfect location. It does have a lot of restaurants and convenience store near by. As women traveling here. I am feeling very safe

Smile inn is conveniently located right across Taipei main station when you arrive from the airport. Few minutes and you’re already at the hotel. Everyday clean-up and water is provided daily.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean, and being just a short walk from Taipei Main Station made it even more convenient.
