We had to change our plans last minute due to inclement weather and elderly unwell. However, despite cancelling on the morning of the first night, hotel refused to accommodate to cancellation when contacted by Trip. We tried calling the hotel all morning but could only get through in the afternoon. we also emailed them explaining our situation. Hotel staff refused to cancel our booking and we were charged for 4 nights even though we could not make it and informed that we were prepared to pay for 1 or 2 nights’ stay. There is also no reply via email from the hotel. Due to this unkind inflexibility, lack of empathy and service excellence, and difficulty to contact hotel, we are afraid to try this hotel the next time. Would like to commend Trip for their excellent service in rendering assistance to negotiate with the hotel and offer of a small amount of Trip credits.

The staff at the service desk are very warm and courteous and provide detailed introductions. Each person has two drink coupons per day, which can be exchanged for soda, beer and tea. There is a long table on the seventh floor where you can eat together, and the location is convenient! However, the hotel is relatively old and the rooms are small!

It is very close to CNR. Because there are few accommodation options within walking distance of Taoyuan Expressway and Taoyuan High Speed ​​Rail, CNR is a good choice. There is a department store next to it. Because the arrival time is very late, it is difficult to find food nearby.

The room has a strong musty smell, but the biggest problem is that there is no internal lock and it can be easily opened from the outside with an induction card, so safety is not guaranteed.

This time I stayed in a 4-person room on the 6th floor. The space was OK. I could open a 29-inch suitcase. It was clean and tidy. The bathtub wall was dirty and had a history. The soundproofing was not good. I could hear the alarm clock in the opposite room. The location was good. I could exchange ice or drinks. It was good.

The location was great, within walking distance of both Taipei Station and Ximen. The staff were very friendly and check-in was smooth. The room was old, but not bad enough to complain about and was comfortable enough. When you check in, you get a drink voucher, which you can choose from a bottle of oolong tea or green tea at the front desk whenever you like. Coffee was free to order at the front desk! You can also exchange this voucher for beer or ice cream at the bar on the 7th floor (you can reach the stairs from the 6th floor). The only disappointment was that the bed mattress was hard, which caused pain, especially in my back. (This is purely my opinion.)

Because it was too late after getting off the plane, I decided to find a hotel to stay in temporarily. The location of this hotel is convenient. When you check in, you will get a welcome wine redemption coupon. Even if you don’t drink, you can exchange it for coffee and other drinks. The decoration design is cute!

We were on a road trip and thought we could walk to the Presidential Palace, so we chose this hotel which we thought was pretty good. We will continue to book this hotel next time we come to Taipei~ Close to the station and convenient to the MRT
