The room facilities were well-maintained, and the front desk service was excellent. The hotel's location is superb, with convenient transportation. However, the deposit issue has been a hassle. It's been three weeks since I returned home, and more than 15 business days have passed, but the deposit still hasn't been refunded! I've contacted the hotel twice and my bank, but it's still unresolved! Usually, deposits are refunded instantly upon checkout. I've never encountered such a poorly managed 5-star hotel; it's truly unacceptable!

The location of this hotel is perfect, situated right next to 101. A short walk across the footbridge and you have access to a number of restaurants and food court. The room itself is sufficient but a bit old and dated. The lobby is big and full of people, almost like a tourist attraction. With the doors constantly opening and closing, any cold air tends to escaping resulting in quite a warm and uncomfortable lobby.

Very roomy. The light controls, the plugs are all at bedside, making it convenient and comfortable at night. The toilets are heated and the bidet is automated. The only concern is that the shower is always warm even when turned to the coolest setting. They don’t have any toothbrushes, combs or other “plastic” amenities but the bathroom is otherwise complete. The fruit tray out front has so much fruits I only managed to eat 3 of them in my 3 night stay.

The service was excellent and very welcoming. I had a really comfortable stay. I'll definitely go back next time I visit Taiwan.

Nice facility, good location next to Taipei 101 (=shopping and food courts). Breakfast is expensive at the hotel - but you get a good selection.

Average experience, rooms and facilities like the pool a bit dated, if you look for a room with great 101 view would not really recommend, actually too close and ceiling in the room is lowered so it’s not that nice, top location though and nice breakfast.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay at Grand Hyatt Taipei Perfect location next to Taipei 101. The service was outstanding – warm, professional, and attentive. The Japanese restaurant was excellent, and the breakfast was outstanding with a great variety and high quality. Spacious, quiet rooms and very comfortable beds. Highly recommended – we would definitely return.
