Hotels in Ximenting Commercial Area, Taipei

It was so good! I booked a room for 3 people and only 2 of us stayed! From 6am to 11am, you can enjoy toast and a different bread every day. Free bottled water and various mini snacks! It was well-stocked with jam, butter, chocolate bars, and more! I stayed on the 9th floor and didn't hear a single noise! Everyone was so friendly. ㅠ The water wasn't running on the day I checked out, but... I brought bottled water and washed up. That was another memorable experience. The location was great, and last but not least, there weren't a single cockroach. ㅠㅠㅠㅜㅜ I'm satisfied with this alone. ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ I was worried, but I had a wonderful rest. 🩷

Stayed in room 901A. Nice unit. Daily cleaning. Very accommodating staff both in the day and night shift. Clean bathroom. Will recommend.

I must confess I had some concwrns about this hotel because there were several negative opinions. However, my experience was completely positive. I had a big sized room, with amenities, fridge, water boiler, and a window. External noises were not an issue for me. Breakfast qas around the corner at a coffee shop, quite generous. We scheduled the Room cleanup at our convenience. And the location was near the main train station, convenient when arriving by airport MRT. The hotel is also close to the most important night market, and some other attractions, with multiple public transportation nearby. I recommend this place.

Pros - Super Convenient across a traffic crossing Is XiMenDing Night Market and street for food, souvenirs , local snacks and some shopping. - Very Grand Looking Building and Lobby looks newly renovated and the wallpaper and design of the rooms looks nice overall. - The location is like close to many attractions for example it takes only 3-4 stops of bus/metro can bring you to places like diff night markets Raohe, Ningxia , Dongmen Market, Nanmen Market or Zhongshan station. Cons Cleanliness/Hygiene is the biggest concern - Seen many bad reviews but chose to stay as I have limited choices as I book 1 week before stay and due to the location I have to take into consideration staying with my parents. - Dirty/mushy carpets on the corridor of the rooms looked stained. - Leaking Shower Heads hose with black/stained rubber seals on the shower head water outlet - Sofa that makes u itchy and the quvet/bedsheet of the bed was making u itch - Slept first night with itch on my family room with 2 queen bed and my bed was the one which itched, day 2 morning put on the green sign label on my bed to request for change of bedsheet and come back at night after a long day found it to be the same as my quvet I saw mini blood stain on it was exactly the same immediately I called the receptionist for a change of bedsheet and the room maker says quvet would only be changed upon request at the reception. - Upon sleeping there for at least 3 nights I realise that they sometimes don’t change your towels or bedsheet but instead they would just rearrange instead even if u put on the change of bedsheet signboard. - Fridge was small but sufficient but it was so loose and light weight n shaky if u open with slightly stronger force it will drop out of the shelve - Last of all the concept of the bath tub was so bad u have to climb into the bath tub to shower which is normal at some hotel but it isn’t all cause they have a sliding glass on the bathtub to prevent water spilling over but it was not fixed to slide open wide enough it’s tight for u to climb in and it can be slippery even with the slip mat in the bathtub climbing in and out could easily be a risk of slip and fall especially with my parents they can incur even higher risk. Credits to the Philippine Lady room maker she was very polite and helpful she does thing very fast and help to change of bedsheet even at night 10-11pm without being unglam when we encounter itch and she provided a bedsheet cloth to lay over the sofa and spray disinfectant on it to ensure comfort for us.

Swiio hotel is strategically located at the heart of Ximending. The room is great for couples, I’m not sure if it will be good for friends because you’ll see the silhouette of your roommate in the bathroom. You’ll even smell everything. So make sure you get along well with your friend if you’ll get the room. But if you are a couple this is definitely a steal!!! It is an airplane theme hotel which was funny but we enjoyed the experience. The staff was helpful and the hotel was comfortable in general. Decoration is a bit old and beds were not next to each other which was strange but it goes well with the airplane theme. Excellent location next to the metro station and Ximen district

I came to this hotel just end of Sep as my flight to HK was cancelled due to HK airport closure for the typhoon. The room was much bigger than this time and with a better layout, also it was only 60% of the cost of this time. This time the room is so small that it's difficult to find a space to open up the luggage. I was there to see concerts so I was only back for shower and sleep, didn't spend much time in the hotel. Location-wise it's convenient as it's near the Taipei Main Station so I could just take the 24hrs shuttle bus to the airport for my after midnight flight.

Decent hotel next to Ximen Station but at exit 2 (stairs only). Need to walk to other exits for lift and escalator, which are also quite near. Walking distance to ximending so quite convenient. Not suitable for very tall people as their ceiling in the room quite low. At 1.64m, I lift up my hands I can hit the ceiling in toilet. Overall quite ok and the price is very affordable.

Location: The hotel’s strategic location often allows me to easily explore nearby attractions and enjoy local dining options especially ximending district. Cleanliness: Consistent cleanliness and they’re committed to high a standards cleanliness. Amenities: The hotel may offer a variety of amenities, from a well-served food, catering to diverse guest needs. they have a convenient washing machine that is easy to follow. And even they helped me to book a taxi going back to the airport. If I were to come back in Taipei, I would definitely choose this hotel again! Thank you, HPW!❤️
