Hotels near Huaining St, Zhongzheng District in Taipei

The cleanliness of the hotel room is such a disappointment. The bathroom wall grouting & silicon was moldy, and spider webs were in the room. The TV and aircon vent were super dusty. The aircon, even off, was extremely cold. The overall cleanliness is terrible, with noticeable dust accumulating in several areas. It was disappointing and not up to the hygiene standards one would expect from a hotel room. To make matters worse, the cleanliness issues persisted even after the room was supposedly cleaned. The bathroom grouting remained moldy, spider webs lingered, and the attendant neglected to vacuum away the hairs on the floor. The bed has insects, indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. This consistent neglect of hygiene standards throughout my stay was disappointing and unacceptable. This lack of attention to detail further emphasized the subpar cleanliness standards, contributing to an unsatisfactory stay.

When my family arrived, the lobby was super crowded,(maybe due to new year) and a great place to take pictures. The room was quite big, but the toilet was quite dirty. The bathtub had brown stains, and the corners of the toilet were caked in mold. The hotel was connected to Taipei Main Station through Exit M6. There was a lift directly connected to room. We took a Tra train one stop to Rouhe night market, it was very convenient. Overall, Caesar Park Hotel Taipei was a nice place to stay in.

I chose the hotel due to its location. It is across the road from the museum, has a convenience store close by, plenty of food places, and a Metro station is just 200m away with the main railway station just 400m away. My room had wifi/internet and a bar fridge. I stayed here twice and was mostly satisfied. Better rooms are on the front of the building. The back rooms have no view and sound carries between them via a light well. English speaking by staff is mixed. They do have a left luggage facility if you arrive early or are departing late. Not all staff understand such requests.

Since the room we booked had a window, we were initially assigned a small room that was close to life and the window was small. I immediately contacted the sister at the front desk and quickly helped us change the room. Although there was a window, the view was... An iron wall🥹🥹🥹 After staying for 4 nights, the supplies were cleaned and replaced every day, which was really nice👍🏻👍🏻 It is also very convenient to go to Ximending. It is also very convenient to take the MRT to other places. You can take the National Taiwan University Hospital Station via 288 Peace Park to Shilin Night Market, which only takes about 10 minutes by car.

Very new hotel with many restaurants downstairs. Not far from the MRT station. You can stay again next time. The bed is huge. There is self-service coffee and milk tea. Free drinks. The public spaces are nice.

Service - There was no one at front desk when we came. But good thing their contact number is easy to call, someone picked up right away and acknowledged our arrival. At the same time, another stuff already came to open the door for us and accommodate us (not sure if he just went out quickly then we coincidentally arrived or he saw us or was told to go back since we called). Anyway, it was no biggie. Note that their front desk has a certain operating hours so make sure to contact them ahead of time if you’ll be late or be early for your check-in or reach out to them within their operating hours for your concerns. Location - it’s still still considered good even though there’s a few minutes walk to get into Ximending street compare to other dorm type that are already within the Ximending street. Given its price. It’s still good. Cause I think this is the cheapest among the ones we booked. Cleanliness - this is where they have to WORK ON for real. Like there are small spaces in the sides of the bed (the bed did not fit the entire bed case) so you’ll see the sides, it has dust, hair, cotton buds, and especially once you pull it up. The underbed even have a biscuit. Like they probably just change the beddings and pillow cover. Just want to share also what I overheard when we were checking out. The other staff was telling the guest that he saw her putting i think something that shouldn’t be included to the basket. (The guest was also a foreigner, japanese I think, not sure, and the staff was like telling her he saw her do it. I mean, sure, if the lady was trying to deny it, she was obviously trying to save herself from embarrasment, it’s not like she stole something or broke a rule. Like I was wondering why he had to keep on scrubbing it on her face that it was her who did it. What did he want the guest to feel? Or do? That discussion kinda took about 3-5 minutes lol. Though the staff said it was fine afterall. I think he just wanted to make a point and instill to that lady that he did see her.) Anyway, another thing is that I wish we got reminded that there’d be a room cleaning service. Cause we booked a 6-bed room for the 6 of us so we won’t have to share with a stranger. So we were expecting that it’s basically considered as a private room for the 6 of us. So we did leave our luggages open. Had we known, we would’ve of course closed them before leaving. Like I might or might not have lost something, and I would not realize it. I personally, don’t remember all the stuff I got in my luggage. Though I’d always bring the important stuff with me like the passport, wallet, ids. But what if I still have other important stuff that I can’t bring with me every time i go out? Like a macbook, or another gadget, or spare IDs, or my other wallet with my country’s money in it, etc. Will I stay here again? Yes, especially if I need a cheap place to stay. If they got the cheapest rate available from the time I’m booking then yes. They got lockers beside your bed like normal dorm type. But I think it’s bigger than usual. Like it could fit a handcarry(?) didn’t get to try though. But looks like 1 handcarry luggage could fit.

I love the location of this hotel! 5 minutes or less walking distance to the metro station-MRT. The food selection as soon as you are out of the hotel is endless. Very clean, very nice staff, comfy bed, nice TV with English channels, a small fridge, kettle , available umbrellas, tours, etc. YenYen, Jenny and Anna were very helpful. They went above and beyond to make my experience here very comfortable. They set up a nice day tour for me and even offered to do my laundry so I could go out and explore the city. I'd definitely stay here again!

The Inn Cube at Taipei Main Station is best for a short few nights stay I'd say because the location is perfect very central to the big streets of Taipei. However the room is very small and thus not good if you have a lot of luggage. The bed was clean and had a TV and several plug sockets but the bathrooms felt a bit dirty. I would stay there again however not when coming in from the airport with a lot of luggage.

Location- Near to Taipei main station, about 5-8mins. Note that Hotel Relax 5 is round the corner so don’t go to the wrong hotel Food- we did not order breakfast. We saw it is bento set. There is McDonald,7-11 and family mart. Also nice beef noodles. A-cai oil fried bao is located few doors down. A few vegetarian stalls around the hotel. Free coffee provided at lobby. U can top up water at the lobby. Service - friendly staff and polite. Room is clean but small. Staff provides a recyclable bag for us to use. Also note that lobby is small so the luggage deposit is in main lobby and not in a room (public area)

advantage: 1. The location is excellent, very close to the Taoyuan Airport MRT station. It is very convenient whether you walk there from the underground street or from the ground. You can walk to Ningxia Night Market or take a taxi. 2. The single room also has an independent bathroom, which is great! 3. The design is beautiful shortcoming: 1. The room is very small and the suitcase cannot be opened. 2. There are no windows or doors in the room, so you need a dehumidifier and an air freshener. However, the room is not big. After placing two machines, there is less space for activities. 3. There was a power outage at around 12 o'clock on the second night of my stay. I had just finished taking a shower, and my hair was still dripping with water. There was also a high-frequency ”beep” sound coming from outside. The front desk clerk said that it would be fine in ten minutes, but it continued. It didn't return to normal until three in the morning 4. The bathroom is not separated from dry and wet areas. When taking a shower, the shower curtain is constantly attached due to the exhaust system.
