the location is convenient located in Ximen, just a 8-10 minutes walk from Ximen Station. i booked a double room. there was no window. the room was a little noisy when phone alarms in nearby rooms started ringing. the facility is clean enough. the front desk was efficient but seemed not so friendly as when i checked out already, i tried to sit for a while to check the phone, the front desk told me checked-out customer should not stay long but there was no other people in their lobby. the price to value wasn't that good as I paid about $1600 for a double room with public washroom during weekend but i paid the same amount for similar lodge with private washroom in Taipei Station which is also convenient. I was not allowed to bring in friend to my room here.

It was a very conveniently located hostel in Ximen. The staff did their best to explain things in English, which was helpful. The facility has a water heater, so it is possible to cook cup noodles. The bed in the room I stayed in was a little thin, but personally it didn't bother me. All rooms have number keys, so you can enter the room with peace of mind as long as you have the card they give you or take a photo of you. Above all, the cute miscellaneous goods and decorations were a little nice.

Great location but had difficulties locating the entrance initially. I was allocated to a small room which was very run down with small window. (I paid for full length window room that shown on the site). I was transferred to the new room after I shown them the room photo which I paid for. They agreed to change the next day as they are fully booked over the weekends. I felt being cheated. Fortunately, the night receptionist was very patient with me. Overall, the staff are very friendly except the one who checked me in on the first day. I could sense her impatient when required for room change and she lied to me that isn't any large window in this hotel. She firmly told me that all the room has the same small window which is untrue. Please be firm with what you had booked and confront them if needed. I didn't take the first room's photos as I was upset for what I had given.

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We travelled with two six year olds and lots of luggage and despite the stairs up to the elevator this was one of the nicest places we stayed in the four weeks we were in Europe. It is wonderful staying here. Service was very good. Owner kindly helped me to settle quickly as I arrived later than expected n was late for a work call. Room was v comfortable. I have frozen shoulder n he helped to carry my luggage too. What can I say? Perfect for service, location and comfort.

The staff at the front desk were always kind and helpful, and some even explained things to us using a translation app, so we were able to spend a very comfortable and enjoyable two-night stay. It was right behind Longshanji Temple, close to the station, and there was a landmark, so it was easy to explain to taxis.

The location is good, close to the Ximending MRT station, the hotel is easy to find and you won't get lost on foot, the room is clean and quiet, but the washstand has no water, the service attitude of the waiters is good, and they will help with the operating system.

There were cockroaches in other posts, but the room I stayed in was very clean. Since it is a shared room, it may change if another person spills food. It was a little hard to understand because the check-in and stop rooms were in different buildings. He kindly taught me.

Convenient transportation, warm service, clean room, good coffee, very close to the subway station, because the boss is enthusiastic, the second time staying, the room was very clean, but the air conditioner was a bit cold and not adjustable, there were more mosquitoes, and free coffee.

A few minutes walk (~10 mins from Ximen MRT station). You’d have to navigate the small alley lanes in the area to find the hotel. Amenities are typical (kettle, hairdryer, TV). The phrase “you get what you pay for” will be applicable in a way. A comfortable stay I would say.
