It was really great. The karaoke room allowed us to stay indoors without feeling bored, and the hot spring pool in the room was large and comfortable. The most important thing is that the service is very good and friendly. The simple breakfast is also very delicious and very appetizing. Thank you for the hospitality.

RrudolfhkEaster trip with the family, stayed here after Kaiping rural historical villages and diaolou exploration. For some city time. Clean neat new hotel. Good Non smoking rooms.
Nice bathrooms, japanese style automatic toilets. Simple okay buffet breakfast, fresh coffee, mostly Chinese style breakfast. Our family had a good time. Booked a double for us and a twin room for the kids. There is a bit of a music bass noise in the evening due to next door night club. Was mentioned in the booking. No real problem for us. We enjoyed the giant modern Chain mall a short drive away for dinner and shopping. The old city centre is also good for meals and the sights.

GGuest UserWe booked a 2 bedroom unit, very spacious bedrooms with lots of light, wardrobe, drawers etc. Balcony good for drying clothes, hanger provided. Bathroom small with poor lighting. Kitchen includes large fridge and plenty of bench space but no equipment except a kettle and cups. No cutlery or plates or bowls. Power system - lighting, air con etc - difficult to navigate. Breakfast buffet limited options. Staff friendly and attentive and speak Mandarin, Cantonese and Toishanese. Hotel is well-located, a few minutes walk to shopping mall with eateries and an excellent supermarket. Great location for exploring the Taishan rural area. We would stay here again.

GGuest UserWe arrived in late evening and upon inquiring which restaurants were still open, the young gentlemen at front desk walked us over to some near the hotel. We didn't expect this and appreciate this distinction of service. Otherwise, we found front desk staff lacking in warmth. Breakfast was varied and tasty. Bus from Hong Kong dropped off directly in front of hotel so very convenient. Having stayed a several hotels in Taishan, Fairfield is the better in terms of quality and comfort, although at a higher price point.

The hotel is clean and tidy, it is very good in this place, we arranged for us not facing the street, not so noisy, the people in this place love to be lively, the supermarket opened in the morning and began to dance lions.
In the morning, there is a breakfast on the opposite side of the street. It is a certain distance from the first yellow rice in Taishan and convenient parking.

GGuest UserNew World hotel is truly a world class hotel. The hotel layout is huge and the hotel lobby leading to the lift lobby has mesmerising ceiling art not unlike Sistine Chapel.
Check in was quite swift. We met Ki Ki and she is indeed very kind, helpful and patient with us; going beyond extra miles in helping us navigating the city, booking cab, introducing good restaurants & even helping us to find & locate our ancestor's village by contacting the relevant association! I have to say she is a true gem in the hotel! Our heartfelt gratitude and appreciations go beyond words for her.

GGuest UserThe hotel is relatively new as compared to some of the other ones in the neighborhood. The room we booked was nice and clean. Unfortunately, they don’t have a fridge in the room which is inconvenient. The breakfast included was plentiful but quality is mediocre. But, this is no complaints considering this used to be a rural area of Kaiping. There are a few variety stores in close proximity that you can get some fruits and drinks so that is good. Will stay there again next time.

YYe_Overall it's good, the room is not small, there are two large towels and two small towels in each room after entering, this hotel has disposable items (toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, razor, laundry detergent, soap, etc.), the bed is quite comfortable, overall it's good, but the corridor is a bit dark, it's a sensor light, one person per room, there is a small window sill, this hotel is quite worth it! Because I didn't take any photos outside most of the time, I only have these photos. Overall, I recommend them.

GGuest UserRoom is large but a little worn down with low ceiling, half of a duplex. Noise from upstairs can be heard clearly. Elevators are in poor condition. Location is good, next to a mall with excellent supermarket. Front desk are helpful and friendly.

GGuest UserThe staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel was old but very clean. Everyone from the staff to security was especially helpful to provide directions and insight. Rooms were kept clean and tidy. The location was optimal to walk to shopping, McDonalds, Cafe De Coral, and other restaurants. Pedestrian street was very convenient and fun to walk through. The lake view was very nice. There was karaoke at night until 10 pm outside but that is not the hotel’s fault. It wrapped up early so no concerns. I would recommend staying at this hotel.
