Mille Rich Hotel

Environment/Location: Very close to Taitung Station, less than a 10-minute walk. The breakfast area is right next to the lobby, and the overall space is quite spacious and clean! Room Space: Comfortable and bright, and the bathroom is also very clean. A minor downside is the lack of slippers >_< Service: They offer luggage storage, and the front desk staff are all very friendly.

Very close to Taitung train station, with a parking lot. The area is quiet, and the facilities are simple and bright. I especially liked the wet/dry separated bathroom and the convenient luggage racks. The full-length mirror was great for getting ready. They offer both Chinese and Western breakfast options; while the selection is a bit limited, it's enough to fill you up. We arranged a half-day bike tour through Taitung Forest Park, and the air quality was fantastic. It was a very pleasant and relaxing experience to sit down, enjoy some snacks, and take in the beautiful scenery. So comfortable!

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, yet it's very quiet. The hotel itself is new and the rooms are spotless. It's excellent! The breakfast is also quite good and I'd recommend it. It takes about 12-14 minutes to walk to the city center for dining.

Super close to Taitung Station. The surrounding area is quiet, and the room is very clean and bright. The room is spacious, and the bathroom is a good size too. Even the hallway is wide. It’s a very comfortable place to stay. Breakfast is simple but tasty.

The room was very clean and hygienic, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, which was very comfortable to use. The breakfast was decent and filling. It's close to the train station, and the male front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

This place is expensive, even more so than Taipei. While I understand prices go up on weekends, for the quality of the facilities – which are pretty much guesthouse standard – it's just too much. I'll probably avoid staying in Taitung in the future; there are just too few options. Found a cockroach chilling on the counter right when I walked in. Had to quickly grab it and toss it out. Breakfast is available, but you have to get up early to grab anything, otherwise, there'll be nothing left. Not a major issue though. Service was decent; we arrived quite late, but the front desk staff were still very helpful.

The room quality was excellent – very comfortable and cozy. The breakfast was decent and tasty, though it's a shame there weren't more options. Overall, I'm very satisfied.
